Biography

Mutation Disaster and the Secret War

Barette commands the Godoran squadron in Planet Aquamarine's orbit when DarkStar forces arrive. He reports and reacts quickly through the fleet's communication network, then supports a plan to restrain enemy fire so Nagakin's ship can approach the hostile flagship. Judging that DarkStar's fleet cannot simply be sunk, he places confidence in Han's proven strength and accepts a coordinated boarding approach. He remains with the intervention force afterward; despite his explosive temperament, he does not dare complain openly about Ames while she is on the planet. (Chapters 536, 541, and 557)

Appearance and personality

Barette is a short Godoran with an explosive temper and a thunderously loud voice. He is forceful in command but capable of sober tactical judgment when the fleet faces a stronger or difficult target. His silence around Ames also shows that his bluster is constrained by a realistic sense of power. (Chapters 536, 541, and 557)

Abilities and class
