Vualla's Fate Glove is an ancient Fate artifact recovered by Randidly from the armory trunk that saves him during his escape. Its resemblance to the projected Vualla's glove reveals that it embodies the Fate of the original Vualla, whose surviving identity is Edraine. (Chapters 1122, 1137)

History

Recovery from the Fate armory

Randidly opens the protective trunk and finds a soft, dark-brown fingerless glove made for a right hand. A large hole pierces its palm, and its ancient Aether feels disturbingly familiar to him. He later lays the glove beside Chulroon's Chisel and the hiltless blade while considering which Fate should align with each of his images. (Chapters 1122, 1131)

The original Vualla's Fate

When the projected Vualla removes a matching glove, crystalline growths around its palm opening appear to be drawing the wound closed. The correspondence lets Randidly identify the armory artifact as the Fate harvested from the original Vualla. He subsequently considers assigning it to the Grim Chimera, but remains wary of its familiarity and does not settle on that plan. (Chapters 1137, 1143)

Abilities and properties

  • It is a soft, dark-brown fingerless leather glove with a large opening in the palm. (Chapter 1122)
  • The Aether within it is ancient and strangely familiar to Randidly. (Chapter 1122)
  • A matching manifestation develops crystals around the palm opening that appear capable of healing it inward. (Chapter 1137)
  • As a harvested Fate, it can be considered as a component in Randidly's image and Fate development. (Chapters 1131, 1143)
