Divine Ore Necklace

The Divine Ore Necklace is a necklace forged from divine ore that becomes a contingency body for Lex and the foundation of an artificial internal realm. (Chapters 1821–1822)

History

From contingency to vessel

Divine metal travels from Jack to Lex through their shared soul, after which Lex fuses part of his heart with the resulting necklace while hiding the act from causal scrutiny. Its ability to regrow with him confirms a bond deeper than ordinary equipment. When Lex's main body is lost, his soul persists in the necklace, which River carries while Lex projects the identity of Cliff and guides River and Pearl. (Chapters 1821–1822, 1952, and 2250–2260)

Building a realm within metal

The vessel initially has limited usable energy and cannot absorb and emit power simultaneously, but its toughness reflects Lex's true body. He gradually adds energy systems, spatial structure, Dao materials, and the beginnings of a fake realm. Damage to the necklace injures his attached soul, making refinement both a route back to power and a direct survival risk. (Chapters 2251–2253, 2283–2328, and 2334–2395)

Abilities and properties

• The divine ore can travel between Lex and Jack through their soul connection. (Chapter 2250)
• It regrows with Lex and later serves as a durable vessel for his surviving soul. (Chapters 1952 and 2251)
• Absorption and emission cannot initially occur at the same time, and damage to the vessel can remove portions of Lex's soul. (Chapters 2251 and 2368–2369)
