Hera

Hera is Jimmy's widowed mother, a former Rose Society strategist, and one of the Midnight Inn's earliest outside hires. A desperate gamble on Will

After the deaths of her husband and family leave her destitute, Hera approaches the ailing Will Bentham because almost every former friend has abandoned her. She refuses an immediate fortune for her golden key and instead invests its opportunity in Will, quickly noticing the key's effect on his ruined body and protecting Jimmy while they determine what it means.
