Belail Sacrin

Belail Sacrin is a seventeen-year-old Kraven prince whose forces attack the Babylon realm conflict surrounding Lex's tavern. The resulting harm—including Betty's miscarriage—turns Belail from a distant royal adversary into the object of Lex's deliberate hunt, capture, and execution.

Biography

Attack and protected retreat

Belail appears at the center of a Kraven force attacking the isolated battlefield around the tavern. When the conflict turns, other Kraven close around him and higher powers communicate with him rather than simply handing him over, demonstrating royal importance beyond his unreadable cultivation. The attackers retreat, but the damage to civilians and guests ensures that escape postpones the consequence instead of ending the feud. (Chapters 709–711)

Target of Lex's hunt

Lex later names Belail as his objective and seeks information from Cornelius about the Kraven prince's location and protection. Belail remains guarded in the Kraven capital while competing schemes delay direct retaliation. His status and the special material detected in his body make him valuable to multiple parties, but royal defenses cannot erase the personal motive created by the tavern attack and Betty's loss. Capture and execution

Vinei's plans temporarily delay Belail's death, but Lex eventually reaches and captures him. Lex strips away the energy that could support resistance and incorporates the execution into a tribulation-driven reckoning rather than granting a political ransom. Belail dies as the direct consequence of violence he once survived through rank and guards, closing Lex's long pursuit without rehabilitating the prince or separating him from the attack's civilian cost. Belail is a male Kraven only seventeen years old, young enough to be described as tiny beside the powers protecting him. The Inn's scan detects “special material” in his body but cannot read his cultivation. His conduct is filtered through command and guarded retreat rather than intimate viewpoint: privileged, willing to direct catastrophic violence, and accustomed to intermediaries shielding him from consequences. Belail commands or benefits from a disciplined Kraven escort that surrounds him when the battle turns and later guards him in the capital.
