Selena is Elyn's stoic second-in-command in the Blue Magic Tower. After Carlito seizes the tower and imprisons its master, Selena preserves the loyalists, uncovers a traitor, and leads the assault that restores Elyn's rule.

Biography

Reclaiming the Blue Magic Tower

Selena retreats with the tower's loyalists to a fortified cave after Carlito's takeover, then organizes two unsuccessful counterattacks. When Abigail Callaway returns with Kai LuForia's party, Selena initially treats the strangers as possible threats. Kai points out that the hideout was formerly Carlito's property and therefore likely compromised. Accepting the criticism, Selena gathers everyone, activates their loyalty runes, and identifies a double agent whose information had caused the earlier defeats. The brutal test pains loyal members as well, but Selena accepts that cost because rescuing Elyn is her overriding duty. (Chapters 223–224)

After learning that Carlito plans to use the tower's sphere against them, Selena requests Kai's aid and mobilizes an immediate offensive. She fights beside Seaweed and Kai's women, tracks casualties, and is stunned when the victory costs none of her people. Elyn's rescue restores the tower, and later reports say it becomes wealthier than ever.
