Carliodas

Carliodas is Aera's son, Telia's brother, and leader of the Brotherhood of Chaos. He turns a legitimate grievance against Windonia's treatment of men into terrorism and invasion, using Progenitor Decay and a puppet demon king until Kai LuForia kills him twice.

Biography

Rebellion across two realms

Born immortal but without divine status, Carliodas reaches the peak of mortal power and serves as his mother's right hand. He nevertheless experiences Windonia's gender hierarchy from the subordinate side and forms the Brotherhood to overturn it. Under his rule the movement attacks towns, disturbs monster territories, and kills warriors, while Carliodas obtains Progenitor Decay from Aion's avatar. He extends the campaign into the demon world, installs its king as a pawn, forces demons to empower Brotherhood soldiers, and hides captive supporters in secret locations. (Chapters 494–506)

At the demon castle, Carliodas watches Kai kill the puppet ruler and Yorrigan absorb the throne's essence. He fights Telia while drawing increasing power from Decay, uses a false body to create an opening, and claims death will only trigger a stronger rebirth. Kai kills him anyway. Carliodas's soul reforms on Windonia as a demigod, allowing him to share power with his followers and launch a continent-wide invasion presented as liberation. His promised equality therefore arrives through forced submission, mass killing, and plans to replace Aera as the continent's god. (Chapters 509–511)

Carliodas invades Aera's realm and initially overwhelms both mother and sister. Decay lets him survive their combined attacks, generate a substitute body, and corrupt anything he touches, but it cannot overcome Kai's higher divine hierarchy. Kai pins him with presence alone and finally destroys his body with an explosion of demonic energy and Decay. This second death is final within the supplied chapters, and Aera cleanses the residue from her realm. (Chapters 512–513)

Appearance and personality

The narrative does not specify Carliodas's hair, eyes, height, clothing, or ordinary build. After his demigod rebirth he radiates demonic energy, black-purple lightning darkens the sky, and Primordial Decay trails from him like smoke. (Chapters 510–512)

Carliodas is charismatic, resentful, theatrical, and increasingly megalomaniacal. He can articulate real suffering under Windonia's system, but treats dissenters and civilians as expendable material for his new order. (Chapters 494 and 510–513)

Powers and abilities

Carliodas begins as an immortal peak-level mortal whose exact discipline is not named. Progenitor Decay supplies extreme speed, strength, black flames, demonic energy, regenerative or replacement-body tricks, and eventual demigod rebirth. He can create a clone convincing enough to draw Telia's killing blow and empower an entire army through portals. The power grows during combat but also actively consumes him, and Kai's superior godly presence can immobilize him completely. (Chapters 509–513)
