Rae

Rae is a Bloodbath Spider bonded to Karl as a hatchling who grows into the predatory and inventive Lady Rae Bloodbath. Her love of ambushes, blood, frightening people, and macabre trophies coexists with fierce loyalty to the pack and an increasingly serious vocation as a tailor, merchant, teacher, and commander of constructs and undead.

Biography

A hatchling claims a name and a place in the pack

Rae enters Karl's life as an unnamed Bloodbath Spider hatchling whose bond is dangerously incomplete. Karl creates her space at almost the same time as Thor's, leaving himself physically depleted while the spider is glutted on monster blood, bored, and confined to a nearly featureless habitat. As communication stabilizes, she rejects a coarse provisional name and chooses “Rae,” short for Arachne, asserting an identity instead of accepting one assigned by her Beast Master. Karl responds by presenting her choice to the others, establishing early that she has preferences and a voice within the bond. (Chapters 82–85)

Academy exercises turn that precarious bond into a home and working partnership. Rae's instinctive wanderlust makes travel exciting, while Karl develops her space from dark bushes and long grass into a tree-filled nest suited for webs and concealment. Outside it, she sleeps in gazebo rafters near Dana, builds shelter and traps for the student team, and becomes large enough that calling her into Karl's lap leaves half her legs on the floor. These domestic and field routines teach Karl to provide for a predator rather than merely summon one, while Rae begins treating Dana and the team as occupants of her territory worth accommodating. (Chapters 88–94, 104, 117, and 134)

Rae initially seems destined for stealth, but training exposes the stronger motive beneath it: she wants stealth primarily to reach a victim before delivering overwhelming damage. She dissects an exoskeletal monster to refine Offensive Adaptation, struggles to learn from inexperienced students, and then thrives under Jonah's instruction in Lacerate. By combining the advanced bleeding technique with Offensive Optimization, her attacks reach Ascended-level output while her body is still much weaker. The disparity establishes both her signature strength and her lasting vulnerability—Rae is a gifted offensive specialist, not a durable frontline tank. (Chapters 98, 139–147, 151, and 153–155)

Battlefield pressure turns an assassin into a protector

On extended deployments, Rae's speed, agility, webs, and willingness to attack from concealment make her the pack's full-offence specialist. She uses silk for elevated forts, hammocks, ladders, waterproof roofs, restraints, and battlefield nets, creating safe rest sites as readily as killing zones. After watching Alice's spellcasting under Karl's Skill Master, she learns to summon spider-shaped tree Golems; their separate bodies let her pressure several enemies, defend the vulnerable, and continue fighting where a single assassin would be overwhelmed. Her advance to Commander Rank comes only after she fights through severe wounds during a trial, protects the clerics when ordered, and moults into her adult form once the immediate crisis has passed. (Chapters 159, 188–203, 237–238)

This phase also gives Rae relationships that matter beyond tactical utility. Lotus becomes a close friend after hunting with the team, eagerly asking Karl to call Rae out and later riding her through the woods. Rae is affectionate in her own possessive way: she once tries to pull Dana into her space and bond her, a failed act that Karl later recounts as an attempt to “claim” the mage. Her predatory instincts remain obvious, but the same instincts now define a territory that includes friends, clerics, and packmates rather than prey alone. (Chapters 215–216 and 346)

The distinction becomes decisive when Karl loses an arm during a duel. Rae immediately hurls Lotus across the battlefield so the healer can preserve and reattach it, then stays behind to protect the wagon with all four Golems. She gives up the chance to focus exclusively on killing because Karl's survival and the group's position require rescue and defence. The episode shows that “full offence” describes her combat build, not the limits of her judgment: when the pack is threatened, she can repurpose her mobility and constructs around preservation. (Chapters 246, 275, and 309)

New companions and new techniques broaden her hunting ground

As Karl's pack expands, Rae learns to integrate very different bodies and abilities into her terrain. Her forts cannot safely bear Thor's full weight, but web networks can suspend Knights and Golems around an arena; she can pull herself to high ground, throw boulders, and create paths through which the whole construct force fights. Her heat sight and echolocation prevent ordinary darkness from hiding targets, while Shadow Step—learned after watching Rogue training—lets her move between shadows and even create cover with earth magic when the environment offers none. The combination turns concealment from a passive wait into an active method of controlling where an engagement begins. (Chapters 347, 371, 381, 398, and 423)

Cara's arrival shows that Rae's work also helps new siblings understand and trust the existing group. When the young badger worries that Dana is too fragile for an enthusiastic greeting, she smells Rae on Dana's robes and concludes that the mage's clothing should not tear. Rae is not present in the exchange, but her silk and scent communicate both protection and pack connection to a newcomer who does not yet know the human members. The craft therefore reduces one danger created by the family's expansion: stronger new beasts can recognize which apparently vulnerable people already belong inside Rae's guarded circle. (Chapter 461)

Rae's role within the growing family is cooperative rather than competitive even when the siblings tease one another. Hawk can land on her during a battle to spread fire over a wider sector, Cara rides her or joins her attacks, and Remi's arrival adds another sibling with an appetite for unusual materials. Rae's skills repeatedly run ahead of her physical rank, giving the entire bonded team stronger attacks through Karl's sharing mechanics, but accidents and separations remind her that neither stealth nor damage solves every danger. Concern for clerics, Thor, and stranded siblings tempers the pride of being a predator few Royal Elites could face alone. (Chapters 423, 497, 531, 541, and 583)

Advancement makes terror an art and training a responsibility

Rae's path beyond Royal Rank remains uncertain because she has not followed a known evolution and Karl does not know how far a natural Bloodbath Spider can advance. She answers that uncertainty through deliberate experimentation. Advancement baths combine carefully selected blood with the species' instinctive ability to absorb its energy and traits: Hill Giant blood strengthens her Royal body, while later Troll, Karl, Cyclops, and Totem blood contribute regeneration, resistance, and the raw power needed for Monarch Rank. At Monarch she uses Skill Merger to combine Ghost Beast, Iron Within, and Shadow Step into Night Haunter, then masters Humanoid Disguise before the advancement energy fades. Her first use—appearing blood-soaked and smiling at a psychologist—confirms that frightening witnesses is part of the achievement in her eyes. (Chapters 372–373, 586, and 611)

Greater power also moves Rae from student to teacher. She spars overnight with the Overlord Rogue Niall, trading experience in Shadow Step and Night Haunter, and trains the deaf young Rogue Sybil through exposure, pursuit, enforced rest, and practical demonstrations. Her methods are frightening and sometimes ethically casual—she wonders whether a small bite would motivate a trainee—but the students do learn, and Rae is invested in their survival and progress. The responsibility extends to Karl as well: when crowds or dangerous allies might run, she volunteers to drag him back, translating pack possessiveness into discipline. (Chapters 597, 607–615, 627–638, and 661)

At the same time, silk work develops from camp utility into a creative profession. Rae makes Karl's casual clothes, brings armloads of fabric into new living spaces, hangs curtains, repurposes Frost Giant fur as rugs, and uses a serrated smile to announce decorating campaigns. This work reveals that her vanity is constructive: she wants bodies, rooms, and institutions to reflect an intentional aesthetic, and she is willing to master the material skills needed to achieve it. By the time the group secures a permanent base in Drodh, Rae has become both the thing in the dark and the person prepared to furnish the darkness. (Chapters 731 and 770)

Building the Darklight Host gives her craft a community

The Darklight Host's guild house turns Rae's domestic labor into infrastructure. She supplies towels and robes for the showers, prepares rooms, produces matching formalwear, and makes bound clothing that can be equipped instantly. Her black-and-white silk outfits for a formal debut are not improvised costumes: they fit their wearers closely, coordinate embroidery and jewelry, and adapt spiderweb motifs to Karl's suit and Dana's dress. The work helps a mixed household of Elites, demons, apprentices, and guests present itself as a coherent institution without erasing individual style. (Chapters 771, 812, and 852)

When war reaches the Host, Rae's contribution shifts seamlessly back to assassination and command. Karl assigns her to eliminate enemy knights who may be supporting a larger system; she searches enemy cities through rafters and shadows, identifies spy gatherings, and reports new undead variants as her summoning repertoire grows. She reassures an anxious Dana that Karl is difficult to kill and that the danger also offers power, revealing both the pack's confidence and Rae's appetite for conflict. The same person who makes robes for the household can therefore serve as its intelligence service and surgical strike force. (Chapters 889, 925, and 958)

Her promises and friendships constrain that appetite. Rae becomes elated after fulfilling a commitment to Sybil, and she uses Night Haunter to chase and catch the Rogue without letting the pursuit become lethal. These scenes establish a mature version of her territorial instinct: chosen people may be teased, captured, dressed, or trained, but they are also protected and provided with better tools. The Host gives that instinct a durable social form, making Rae not only one of Karl's strongest bonded beasts but a senior member whose craft, surveillance, and instruction keep the branch functioning. (Chapters 958 and 987–988)

Divine attention and Totem power turn victims into soldiers

Rae enters the Naga and Fae journeys as an older sister capable of moderating the pack's rough edges. When young Tian fears Lotus's enthusiasm, Rae assumes humanoid form and gently explains that Lotus is not cruel, only intensely fond of beasts. Soon afterward Rae prepares a Totem advancement bath from balanced monster, undead, crab, and Karl blood, then adds her own ichor to stabilize the mixture around her existing nature. The Spider Goddess watches but does not intervene; Rae interprets that distance as an expectation that the goddess's children prove themselves. She moults into Totem Rank with Hemotoxic Strikes and Queen of the Damned, letting wounds resist natural healing and intact victims of Blood Destruction rise temporarily as Blood Golems. (Chapters 992, 1016–1023)

Totem status expands both her authority and her craft market. Rae outfits druids, bears, witches, Succubi, Myths, and Totems, accounting for movement, combat role, and the wearer's desired appearance rather than imposing one template. Karl supplies runic upgrades, but Rae designs and constructs the garments; visitors explicitly recognize their robes as joint work by Karl and Lady Rae. Her jokes about decorative armor and bedroom wear preserve her irreverence, while the volume and specialization of commissions demonstrate a professional practice capable of serving alliances far beyond the original guild house. (Chapters 1053, 1082–1088, 1122, 1155, and 1207)

That reputation changes how allied groups assess the pack. Dungeon partners discuss borrowing Lady Rae and her Golems as a replacement tank if Karl cannot return, treating her as an independent solution rather than merely one of his attacks. Rae continues disappearing into workshops and returning with finished commissions, so the same Totem advancement that makes her more dangerous also gives the Host a specialist whom outside factions actively seek. (Chapters 1122, 1155, and 1207)

Mythic dungeons refine blood magic and professional pride

Rae combines hospitality with predation during journeys through royal and dungeon territories. She provides evening wear and bathrobes for group visits, but in combat immediately claims powerful corpses and drains their blood for later advancement. Boiling pits of Mythic blood resemble a luxury spa to her because blood is simultaneously food, reagent, training resource, and the medium through which her species grows. She also looks for commercial value in excess kills, proposing that monster seafood be sold through Drodh or an arena rather than wasted. The result is not indiscriminate hunger but a complete economy of the hunt: energy advances her body, hides become craft material, meat becomes trade goods, and the dead may become soldiers. (Chapters 1211, 1237, 1291, and 1437)

Her Mythic breakthrough is deliberately conservative. Rae mixes Mythic and Immortal blood with Treant sap, shrinks her natural body to increase the bath's relative volume, and balances destructive, earth, nature, and shadow influences. She gains no new named power because she chooses to strengthen the arsenal she already understands. In the first dungeon afterward, Blood Destruction kills groups and Queen of the Damned raises Blood Golems, while Predation and the pack's Rampage make successive attacks increasingly effective. The experience confirms a mature limitation: Rae's best results come from preparation, repeated contact with known target types, and enough wounded enemies to build momentum, not from a single universal attack that ignores rank. (Chapters 1250–1254)

Rae also becomes part of the pack's strategic reserve rather than an automatic first attacker. Karl counts her among the partners able to answer threats when others are absent, and her intimidation can counter hostile pressure without requiring immediate slaughter. After a hunt she argues for selling excess Mythic meat through Drodh or the arena, ensuring that what her blood magic does not consume still supports the Host. The pattern links combat readiness to stewardship: she preserves resources, withholds force until needed, and converts the results of violence into supplies for a wider community. (Chapters 1291, 1320, and 1437)

Immortality transforms a predator into a clan elder

Near the mortal-world ceiling, Rae is increasingly comfortable acting as a public representative. She intercepts an unannounced arrival while others protect a prince, jokes that she can smooth over the panic caused by a town full of dead people, and uses the threat perceptions of nearby allies as markers for Shadow Step hunts. In clan territories she studies local fashions with the seriousness of a researcher, taking tragedy in bad style as personally as a failed ambush. Her humor and visible monstrousness no longer exclude diplomacy; instead, Lady Rae uses confidence, craft, and the knowledge that she can protect the room to meet strangers on equal terms. (Chapters 1439, 1459, 1528, and 1572)

Her Immortal advancement preserves the blood-bath method while changing its scale and stakes. Rae uses a carefully stored mixture of blood, Immortal essence, Supreme octopus blood, and the protected environment of her space, avoiding the normal Bloodbath Spider method of entering a freshly killed larger creature while soft and vulnerable. Dark divinity briefly enters the bath, her body becomes an Immortal organism whose vital pattern can persist beyond ordinary cellular destruction, and her space evolves into a death- and necromancy-aligned habitat. She also gains Undead Minions, allowing her to summon servants drawn from species she has previously killed. The transformation is both an evolution of her racial method and a vindication of resource planning over the species' hazardous natural route. (Chapter 1500)

In the New Home Merchant Clan, Rae's status is earned through action rather than ceremony. She kills an attacker during a fight on her first day and therefore never receives a formal challenge, helps repel later assaults, and proudly fields undead enemies as part of Karl's dungeon force. She does not become decorous with age: escaped enemies inspire a diorama made from those who did not escape. Yet the same seniority supports the clan, because her constructs, blood magic, and terrifying reputation make the Darklight Host a dependable defense instead of merely visiting merchants. (Chapters 1602, 1689–1704, and 1748)

A merchant, mentor, and infiltration leader reaches Ascended Immortal

Rae turns fashion into an independent enterprise within the New Home Merchant Clan. She designs uniforms, opens a dark-cloth shop with lingerie, sleepwear, and specialized armor, and sets boundaries when Opal proposes styles too sexualized for the young shopkeeper. The shop gives Rae obligations that combat cannot supersede: by Chapter 1865 she returns home because she has a business to run and only one assistant she does not like leaving alone. Dana understands this as protective attachment as much as staffing, since Rae is personally helping the Elf assistant grow. (Chapters 1672, 1785, and 1865)

Combat continues to improve through measured specialization. Predation carries knowledge between repeated encounters with a target type, stacking damage and partial damage-reduction bypass until bosses vulnerable to bleeding and poison fall far faster than expected. Rae applies the same analytical instinct to larger teams: in the Titan dungeon she leads an arachnid infiltration force of a hundred Diamondback Rock Spiders, but against a single boss she recognizes that the mass would only obstruct allies and dismisses it in favor of direct combat. The choice demonstrates command judgment that her early delight in maximum violence did not possess. (Chapters 1727, 1893, and 1899)

By the latest expeditions, Rae is recorded at Ascended Immortal, just behind Hawk's breakthrough. She continues advising Karl on negotiations, accompanying teams whose young members she calls “pets,” and filling whichever role the pack requires: infiltrator, construct commander, blood mage, tailor, merchant, or frightening elder sister. Her development does not erase the hatchling who chose her own name; it gives that self-defined identity a community and a profession large enough to match it. (Chapters 1897, 1910, 1918, and 1927)

Appearance and personality

Rae's natural form is a Bloodbath Spider with a relatively small body and long legs; by full adulthood she is roughly the standing size of a subcompact car, and later advancements make her larger still. At Commander Rank her body and tree Golems gain adaptive white, grey, and red patterning that can shift to match the surroundings. Royal advancement densifies her chitin without increasing her already mature size. Her Overlord evolution removes most of her fuzz, replaces it with hard black armored plates and deep black joints, gives her legs a metallic gleam and her eyes a red glow, and leaves the surface of her dry carapace looking as if blood continually runs beneath it. (Chapters 177, 238, 372, and 826)

Humanoid Disguise gives Rae a smaller two-legged form that remains recognizably unsettling: she has serrated teeth, can reproduce the happy clicking of her mandibles with them, and favors dark or carefully tailored clothes. The disguise is a learned transformation rather than her evolved natural body, and at Overlord Rank the underlying transformation does not change when her spider species does. Rae also uses Unobtrusive Behemoth to reduce her natural size when useful, while Night Haunter can make either approach incorporeal and optically invisible. (Chapters 562, 611, 826, 1155, and 1250)

Rae is proud, theatrical, patient, and intensely predatory. She enjoys darkness, ambushes, blood baths, trophies, frightening strangers, and the moment prey understands it has been trapped. Her self-image is not self-loathing played for horror: she sincerely considers the Bloodbath Spider beautiful and elegant, and she wants advancements revealed with ceremony. The “stabby spider” humor surrounding her is grounded in a real eagerness for difficult fights, but she is capable of retreating, reallocating constructs, or respecting another fighter's turn when tactics require it. (Chapters 126, 203, 371–373, 611, 1252–1254, and 1899)

That confidence drives an equally strong creative temperament. Rae treats webs, clothing, interiors, trophies, and even arrangements of dead enemies as art. She studies fashion across cultures, adjusts garments to a wearer's movement and role, and takes satisfaction when nobody can find a flaw in her work. Her aesthetic often favors black, white, red, spiderwebs, dark cloth, and provocative designs, but she can make restrained practical clothing and respects age-based boundaries in her shop. Crafting is therefore not a decorative hobby added to her combat role; it is the constructive expression of the same precision, control, and authorship she brings to a web. (Chapters 411–419, 731, 812, 1082, 1528–1572, and 1785)

Rae's deepest loyalty is territorial and familial. She may describe companions as possessions or pets, pull them into webs, and train them through terror, yet she also rescues Karl, reassures Tian, protects Dana and Lotus, fulfills promises to Sybil, and worries about an assistant left alone. Over time, her instinct to gather and claim becomes mentorship and institutional care. The result is neither a domesticated spider nor a conventional human merchant, but an elder sister whose affection remains unmistakably arachnid. (Chapters 215, 309, 346, 987–992, 1469, 1865, and 1927)

Abilities and class

Rae is a natural Bloodbath Spider whose abilities are developed through racial instinct, observation assisted by Karl's Skill Master, deliberate skill mergers, blood-based evolution, System blessings, and later Immortal comprehension. Her principal strengths are melee damage, ambush mobility, target control, constructs, blood and undead magic, and magical textile work. She is not a conventional armored tank, and several of her strongest group effects rely on preparation, suitable terrain, known enemies, or kills.

Bloodbath advancement and species evolution

Bloodbath Spiders advance by absorbing vitality and traits from blood. Rae refines the natural method into prepared baths: she chooses a base near the desired rank, adds smaller samples from stronger or unusually compatible creatures, balances elements and abilities, keeps the mixture warm, and absorbs its life energy through her body. The process can strengthen chitin, resistance, regeneration, physical power, or compatible magic depending on the ingredients. It is not alchemy with guaranteed recipes; Rae makes informed selections, receives instinctive feedback, and sometimes chooses consolidation over a new ability. A poor natural advancement can leave a spider soft-bodied and vulnerable between kills, while Rae's storage space preserves vital essence and lets her avoid that danger. (Chapters 372, 611, 825–826, 1016, 1250, and 1500)

Her sourced progression is Commander through an adult moult; Royal through a Giant-blood bath; Monarch through a mixed bath that produces Night Haunter and Humanoid Disguise; and Overlord through an evolution into a Blood Destruction Demonic Spider. Totem adds Hemotoxic Strikes and Queen of the Damned, while Mythic chiefly improves her existing body and skills. Immortality creates an energy-recorded body that can potentially regenerate from a surviving portion unless its vital essence is destroyed, and adds Undead Minions. By Chapter 1918 she is Ascended Immortal. These stages improve her baseline and skill rank, but advancement is exhausting, requires substantial high-ranked material, and does not make her immune to peer or higher-rank damage. (Chapters 237–238, 372–373, 611, 826, 1016–1023, 1250–1252, 1500, and 1918)

Offensive adaptation, Lacerate, and Predation

Offensive Adaptation begins as Rae's study-driven capacity to understand vulnerable anatomy; she dissects appropriate creatures and learns by fighting them. Offensive Optimization then adjusts attacks toward effective damage, allowing Lacerate to inflict severe, technique-dependent bleeding well above the output expected from her early body. Hemotoxic Strikes later prevents wounds made by her physical attacks from healing naturally, strengthening the pressure created by Lacerate and poison. These effects are most valuable when Rae reaches a target's body; barriers, rank-based reduction, immunity, and opponents she cannot physically engage can still limit them. (Chapters 98, 144, 153, 169, and 1016)

At Totem skill rank, Offensive Adaptation evolves into Predation. Each strike against a known target type significantly increases damage and bypasses part of that target's damage reduction. For Rae, the strongest form is embodied in her melee limbs: it does not apply equally to blades or unrelated skills, and shared versions act more like a damage buff. Her Golems also receive less benefit because they are not sufficiently spider-like. Stacks can make a sequence of similar dungeon encounters dramatically easier, but they decay with time, require repeated relevant contact, and do not replace sound positioning against a new or singular boss. (Chapters 965–974, 1252–1254, 1537, and 1727)

Webs, senses, and Shadow Step

Rae's silk can be sticky or non-sticky and is strong enough to restrain monsters of her rank, support suspended forts and hammocks, create waterproof roofs, cocoon allies, form battlefield nets, and provide threads for clothing. She can use it to pull herself rapidly to the ground or high terrain and to build traps that become tighter when a captive struggles. The silk's strength rises with Rae's rank, but weight and anchoring remain physical limits: an early fort cannot support full-grown Thor, ordinary companions may need Rae or Karl to dismantle high-ranked webbing, and open flame or superior force can still threaten a structure. (Chapters 140, 159, 169, 189–203, 347, and 381)

Echolocation and thermal vision let Rae perceive targets in absolute darkness even when ordinary visual camouflage succeeds. Her natural camouflage later becomes active adaptive coloration, and she learns ordinary concealment principles from Rogues. Shadow Step moves her through darkness to another sufficiently shadowed place; she expands its applications by creating earth barriers or throwing objects to supply mobile shadows. Bright open ground restricts the skill, while enemies who sense danger, magic, heat, sound, or the destination can counter an otherwise invisible approach. (Chapters 196, 210, 238, 371–373, 398, 423, 609, and 1124)

Night Haunter combines Ghost Beast, Iron Within, and Shadow Step. In spectral form Rae ignores physical damage, is invisible to ordinary optical sight, regenerates life, and may move to a point she can see or touch with her incorporeal body. It does not erase every signature or grant absolute invulnerability: powerful undead can perceive her, magical and nonphysical attacks remain relevant, and leaving spectral form is necessary for ordinary physical killing. Rae uses it to cross walls, evade crushing blows, pursue other Shadow Step users, and turn her humanoid shape into a more socially unobtrusive ambush platform. (Chapters 611, 627, 913, 965, and 987)

Golems, blood destruction, and undead armies

Rae learns Golem creation by observing Alice and initially summons two spider-shaped tree constructs. Their forms acquire leaves, adaptive coloration, Lacerate, and greater durability as Rae advances, and Karl's class may share enhancements such as Durable Constructs. Golems let Rae attack, scout, restrain, or defend in several places at once, but they are summons rather than extensions with every racial trait: Predation does not fully transfer, and sufficient damage can destroy them. Later she also uses larger shared summon families such as Spectral Knights, Army of the Dead, and other pack constructs, so a reported army is not necessarily produced by one innate Rae-only spell. (Chapters 188–193, 219, 238, 390, 418, 531, and 1252)

Blood Destruction is the racial magic of the Blood Destruction Demonic Spider. It rapidly heats or cools a target's bodily fluids until the victim explodes, with collateral damage in a ten-metre area. Demonic Oppression passively reduces the speed and damage of nearby beings whose bloodline potential is beneath Rae's species. Blood Destruction needs a viable bodily-fluid target and enough time and power to complete the change; enemies have fled when they sense it beginning, and superior rank or resistance can slow or survive the effect. The oppression aura likewise depends on relative bloodline potential, not simply Rae's current combat rank. (Chapters 826, 877, 943, and 1450)

Queen of the Damned lets intact victims finished by Blood Destruction rise temporarily as Blood Golems. They are undead constructs vulnerable to Lacerate, bleed, and holy effects, and they work best when Rae can secure the last hit on many enemies. Army of the Dead supplies Spectral Knights, while Immortal advancement adds Undead Minions drawn from species Rae has personally killed. These armies can snowball through mass combat, but single bosses provide no stream of replacements, destroyed minions must be resummoned or replaced, and a crowd of small bodies can obstruct allies rather than help. Rae's latest command style reflects those limits: she leads hundred-spider infiltrations against groups and deliberately leaves them behind for a boss. (Chapters 1016, 1252–1253, 1500, 1602, 1689, and 1893–1899)

Tailoring, leatherworking, and battlefield craft

Rae spins exceptionally uniform silk, turns hides and cloth into garments, and learns staged tailoring and leatherworking skills. She can make ordinary furnishings, adaptive stealth outfits, bound clothing that equips to its owner, combat robes, armor, backpacks, uniforms, formalwear, and shop stock at ranks up to her current materials and ability. Her designs account for movement—secured ends for Rogues, casual-looking armor for tanks, or styles fitted to local culture—and Karl often adds runes or upgrades afterward. Accordingly, an item's enchantment should not automatically be attributed solely to Rae when the text identifies joint work. (Chapters 411–419, 731, 812, 827, 848–852, 1082–1088, 1101, and 1122)

Her craft has practical limits. High-ranked cloth requires suitable silk, hides, fur, or other material; learning a full trade involves multiple skill stages; complicated or artistic orders take time; and designs can reflect her strong personal taste unless a customer gives a clear brief. By the latest chapters she has enough mastery and inventory to operate an Immortal-realm shop, reproduce Blue Elf fashions, train an assistant, and equip large allied groups, making craft the most developed noncombat application of her precision. (Chapters 892, 1074–1107, 1528, 1672, 1770, 1785, 1852, and 1865)

Relationships

  • Karl: Rae's Beast Master, principal battle partner, and “Karl.” Their bond provides her tailored space, mental communication, shared skills, and advancement support, while he relies on her judgment, constructs, craft, and willingness to rescue or defend the pack. He mediates her more alarming ideas without treating her as a disposable summon. (Chapters 82–85, 237–238, 309, 611, and 1500)
  • Dana: Rae first shares camp and sleeping space with Dana, then once tries to pull the mage into her space and bond her. The possessiveness matures into protection and creative partnership: Rae outfits Dana, reassures her during Karl's absence, and remains part of the linked family that travels with her into the Immortal Realms. (Chapters 94, 346, 812, 925, and 1918)
  • Hawk: Hawk is Rae's older bonded brother, aerial counterpart, and friendly rival in advancement. They combine directly in battle when Hawk uses Rae as a mobile perch, compare progress, and share Karl's transferred abilities; by the latest chapters both have reached Ascended Immortal. (Chapters 238, 541, 1494, 1897, and 1918)
  • Thor: Thor supplies the durability and barriers Rae lacks, while Rae contributes the lethal pressure his defensive build does not. Their early disagreements over Karl's class choices settle into a complementary sibling partnership, and Eternal Lightning repeatedly sustains Rae and her constructs in prolonged fights. (Chapters 184, 237–238, 991, and 1252–1253)
  • Lotus: Lotus is Rae's close friend, healer, rider, and fellow enthusiast for beasts. Rae trusts her enough to throw her to Karl during a medical emergency, later reassures Tian about her, and accepts attention that would be suicidal for a stranger to offer a wild Bloodbath Spider. (Chapters 215–216, 309, 992, and 1469)
  • Remi: Remi is a younger pack sister whose alchemy, blood products, and curiosity suit Rae's advancement work. They share a practical fascination with unusual materials, compare combat skills, and later collaborate on improved blood wine and Immortal resources. (Chapters 346, 546, 825, 965, and 1585)
  • Cara: Cara is Rae's fellow ambush specialist and enthusiastic accomplice. She rides Rae, celebrates her most frightening reveals, and joins her in choosing extreme dungeon difficulty, while their different powers—Chaos and Blood—give the pack complementary ways around conventional defense. (Chapters 531, 611, 889, and 1252)
  • Tian: Rae treats Tian as a younger brother, explains the pack's personalities when he is uncertain, and includes him within the same protective sibling hierarchy. His stone shelters and support magic give her safe terrain from which to prepare or fight. (Chapters 992, 1016, and 1254)
  • Sybil: Sybil is Rae's Rogue student and favored project. Rae teaches her Shadow Step through intense practical drills, makes and fits equipment for her, enforces rest when necessary, and later takes visible satisfaction in fulfilling a promise to her. (Chapters 607–615, 638, and 987–988)
  • Niall: The Overlord Rogue is both sparring partner and peer instructor. Rae seeks his higher-ranked assassination experience, while he studies Night Haunter and benefits from Karl's Skill Master during their exchanges. Their destructive overnight sessions give Rae one of her first relationships built on professional parity outside the pack. (Chapters 597, 614–628, and 724)
  • Opal: Opal helps stage Rae's Totem reveal and later joins her shop planning. Rae enjoys the Fae's enthusiasm but sets limits when Opal's provocative ideas would be inappropriate for a young employee, showing that complicity does not override her responsibility as owner and mentor. (Chapters 1023, 1339, and 1785)

Items

No standalone item assigned to Rae meets the scoped item-selection criteria. Her blood reserves, tailoring stock, bath tools, garments, trophies, and shop inventory are recurring resources or products rather than a separately scoped Rae-owned item article.
