Husarius's Green Gem

Husarius's Green Gem is the compact vessel or manifested form through which Husarius—the collective knowledge, power, and consciousness of Abedum's sacrificed people—speaks and acts. Husarius is a person or collective partner, not an object owned by Endric.

History

The Floorie Oracle and Abedum's legacy

Endric first encounters a small floating green gem in an enclosed space, where the voice within introduces itself as the Floorie Oracle. The gem guides him through the strange settlement, teleports him out, and later rests physically in his palm while information about the Outworldly remains in his mind. It also identifies the lingering souls of Abedum as kin who sacrificed themselves for a greater purpose. (Chapters 632, 635)

Husarius later explains that the gem is not merely a talking tool. The voice identifies itself as the combined knowledge and power of Abedum's people, whose sacrifice preserved Earth and produced knowledge of possible futures. It corrects Gustav's “what” to “whom,” explicitly asserting personhood. The gem form is thus a vessel or body-state through which that collective consciousness operates. (Chapters 659, 828–829)

Time Candidate partnership

Husarius partners with Endric as a Time Candidate, warning him about branching futures and directing the retrieval of the Outworldly's sacred items. The gem can enter or emerge from Endric's forehead and create a private dimensional space used to conceal the Sacred Armor. Husarius's guidance influences decisions, but Endric remains a reasoning participant who questions its predictions rather than a passive operator. (Chapters 659, 1051–1052)

During later appearances, the gem becomes a green point or mark on Endric's forehead and can still phase out to speak independently. Husarius resists an attempted seal by the System, reads fate, and provides extensive knowledge of distant places and artifacts. The exact physical rules governing the shift between floating gem and forehead mark are not explained. (Chapters 829, 1142, 1365)

Abilities and properties

• Serves as Husarius's speaking and mobile vessel, carrying the collective consciousness, power, and knowledge of Abedum's sacrificed people. (Chapters 659, 828–829)
• Teleports Endric and others and creates or grants access to a private dimensional space. (Chapters 635, 659, 1051)
• Downloads information, interprets fate, tracks branching outcomes, and guides the Time Candidate's artifact-retrieval duties. Predictions are presented as paths and probabilities rather than guaranteed commands. (Chapters 635, 1052, 1142)
• Can resist external suppression, including the System's attempt to seal the gem's speech or light. (Chapter 829)
• Manifests either as a floating green crystal or a green point on Endric's forehead; the transformation mechanism is not stated. (Chapters 659, 1365)
