Viltru

Viltru is an Alpha-ranked protector of the Vertigon main family. He emerges from secrecy when the cult threat becomes strong enough to endanger Stark Vertigon.

Biography

The hidden protector enters the Emblem conflict

Madam Lilian summons Viltru after learning that the cult master is Beta-ranked and that Stark will accompany Gustav Oslov. Viltru accepts Gustav's intelligence and leads the family assault, placing himself between the main household and two treacherous branch heads. His intervention gives the wider Vertigon force room to dismantle the cult without losing the island to the leaders' destructive battle. (Chapters 905–912)

Recovering Stark and capturing the master

Viltru receives the badly injured Stark from Gustav and learns that the cult leader nearly abducted him. Gustav later supplies the leader's location, and Viltru captures and disarms the fugitive so escape is impossible. Although he subsequently warns Stark that association with Gustav remains dangerous, he continues serving the family rather than opposing its head's decision. (Chapters 914–919, 1220, and 1259)

Appearance and personality

Viltru has white hair with a golden patch, keeps one eye shut, and wears white Vertigon robes distinguished by golden embroidery. He looks under thirty despite the possibility of much greater age. He is terse, vigilant, and intensely protective of Stark, but follows evidence and plans once convinced they serve the household. (Chapters 908 and 914–919)

Bloodlines and abilities

At Alpha rank, Viltru catches attacks from two Beta-ranked transformed opponents without injury, redirects lightning and energy beams, and moves the battle across the ocean to protect the island. He does not need his own transformation to dominate them. His overwhelming power still serves a tactical limitation: he must be present, and the cult exploits his diversion to target Stark elsewhere. (Chapters 910–914)
