Officer Fola is an MBO field officer caught between command's willingness to destroy an infected city and Gustav's effort to save its people.

Biography

Learning the city's contingency

Fola asks high-ranking officials about the infected city's fate and is told that, if control is lost, command will order the entire place blasted from the map with the infected still inside. The answer destroys hopes for a clean institutional rescue and establishes why officers on the ground need another solution before the higher-level threshold is reached. (Chapters 998–1005)

Supporting an unauthorized rescue path

As Gustav Oslov, Gradier Xanatus, and Red Shadow push the operation forward, Fola remains involved in the field response rather than abandoning the city to the contingency. The group's actions create a chance to recover people and intelligence before annihilation becomes command's chosen answer, and Fola survives the crisis. (Chapters 1009–1020)

Appearance and personality
