Fil
Fil is a Beta cult investigator who recognizes that an unknown attacker killed one of their creatures and deploys with Fakul to find the threat.
Biography
Reading the evidence
Fil points out the large hole in a creature's body and reasons that the same person caught on footage likely killed it. The damage convinces her that the intruder remains nearby and is powerful. Her master orders her to take Fakul and the Tridiver, turning a sound warning into a direct field assignment. (Chapters 896–899)
Failed containment
Fil and Fakul pursue the trail into Gustav Oslov's operation around the Beta cult. Despite approaching with equipment and awareness that the target is dangerous, they cannot contain him. The encounter kills Fil and Fakul, while Gustav continues toward the forces threatening Stark. (Chapters 900–909)
Appearance and personality
The corpus does not isolate a detailed physical portrait of Fil. She is observant, suspicious, and quick to infer a powerful attack from physical evidence, but loyalty to the cult master sends her into a confrontation her own analysis suggests is dangerous. (Chapters 896–902)
Bloodlines and abilities
No named bloodline, formal rank, or signature technique is established. Fil demonstrates investigative observation and coordination with Fakul, while the short confrontation offers insufficient evidence for a safe mechanical claim. (Chapters 896–909)
Relationships
- Fakul: Fakul is Fil's assigned partner, and both die in the same mission.
- Gustav Oslov: Fil identifies Gustav as the likely dangerous intruder and is killed confronting him.
- Stark Vertigon: The cult's campaign around Stark supplies the context for Fil's deployment.
Items
Fil uses footage and deploys with the Tridiver, but no catalogued item is established as her personal possession.
