Eyhrum

Eyhrum Arkwright is the transport officer who survives Karis's escape and guides Gustav's group toward the stolen Rion mineral.

Biography

Surviving the Triton disaster

Eyhrum sends a mayday from the wrecked high-security vessel and explains that Karis used inside help and outside interference to steal Rion, an amplifying mineral. Drawing on years of knowledge about her transfers and tactics, he gives Gustav Oslov's group a reason to enter the Nereus Sector despite its criminal danger. (Chapters 1457–1466)

Returning to the pursuit

Confusion later arises when another figure uses Eyhrum's identity, but the real officer reasserts himself and reports the conspiracy to Captain Voss. He volunteers for the retrieval task because he has firsthand knowledge of Karis and the theft, then accompanies Gustav toward the bonded Rion as the mineral approaches planetary-scale activation. (Chapters 1494–1576)

Appearance and personality

Eyhrum is first encountered badly injured and exhausted after the wreck. He is dutiful, informed, persistent, and frustrated when others take credit or use his identity, yet returns to service rather than withdrawing after near death. (Chapters 1457–1574)

Bloodlines and abilities

No named personal bloodline or formal rank is established. Eyhrum's strengths are transport-security knowledge, criminal intelligence, vessel procedures, and direct experience of Karis's methods. Rion is a mineral, not a person or Eyhrum's innate ability. (Chapters 1457–1576)
