Biography

Mapping the Mendologa facility

Davidson initially doubts the young squad members, but quickly becomes essential to their movement. He interprets maps and scanners, warns that bloodline-energy use before entry would expose the team, and scans the rock facility's interior so the squad can choose a route without revealing itself. His caution gives the mission a disciplined counterweight to its more impulsive members. (Chapters 1028–1036)

Fighting through the transformed route

After a portal deposits the squad near a pit, Davidson accepts Elevora's sensing and continues guiding the team. When combat becomes unavoidable he assumes a golden-furred, gorilla-like form, contests strength with E.E., and breathes fire; he then returns to communications and navigation until the squad completes its objective and withdraws alive. (Chapters 1036–1049)

Appearance and personality

Davidson's ordinary appearance is not described in detail. His transformed body is gorilla-like, muscular, covered in golden fur, and marked by white eyes. He is skeptical and competitive, yet methodical enough to revise his judgment and rely on teammates whose abilities improve the plan. (Chapters 1028–1043)

Bloodlines and abilities

Davidson can transform into a powerful simian form that increases his physical strength and permits fire breath.
