Dark Falco

Dark Falco is the independently speaking alternate consciousness bound to Falco. He pursues the aggressive use of Falco's darkness and repeatedly pressures his host to embrace the power represented by the dark crown.

Biography

A violent consciousness emerges

Dark Falco first takes control when Falco's facial markings spread, immediately displaying an imperious temperament and trying to take Gustav Oslov's food. He later manifests dark claws and cutting crescents, but expends the body's energy rapidly. Although he can help in combat and searches, his readiness to kill Glade and demand a rematch with Gustav makes him a continuing source of conflict inside Falco rather than a simple combat transformation. Pressure to accept the crown

During the IYSOP campaign, Dark Falco appears in heated encounters and urges Falco toward the full darkness power. Falco gradually gains dominance: by their internal confrontation, Dark Falco—whom Falco calls “Darko”—can normally seize control only when Falco is unconscious. Darko nevertheless remains beside the dark throne and half-crown in Falco's inner world, arguing that greater power is changing Falco whether he accepts it or not. His latest role is therefore an active inner tempter and emergency combat presence. (Chapters 1024, 1076, 1105, 1151, and 1195–1200)

Appearance and personality

When Dark Falco controls the shared body, dark tattoos or markings spread over Falco's face and his manner becomes arrogant, combative, and theatrical. He calls himself a lord, favors immediate violence, and treats restraint as weakness. Yet his pressure is not wholly self-destructive: he wants the shared body to survive and become stronger, even when his methods threaten Falco's judgment and relationships. Bloodlines and abilities

Dark Falco channels darkness through clawed limbs, crescent projectiles, large claw manifestations, and scythe-like constructs capable of cutting spacecraft and bodies. The crown-associated state greatly increases the scale of these attacks, but Falco resists it because it also deepens Darko's influence and changes his disposition. Earlier takeovers also consume energy quickly, and Falco's later control restricts when Darko can possess the body. (Chapters 480–482, 873, 1123, 1151, and 1195)
