Commander Folan is a Zaliban junior commander who unknowingly conducts a negotiation beside Gustav impersonating Dart. His growing suspicion arrives too late to prevent the mission from collapsing.

Biography

Partnering with the false Dart

Folan expects an ordinary illicit trip with fellow commander Dart, unaware that Gustav Oslov has already killed and replaced him. He leads the meeting with Sahil, accepts the use of Jabal as a security double, and completes the trade documents. When Jabal detects unfamiliar eye energy, Folan defends “Dart” while privately noticing behavior inconsistent with his partner. (Chapters 540–547)

Recognition and catastrophic fallout

As Sahil scans the party, Folan connects the red eyes, strange sleeping habits, abstinence, and new abilities to an impostor. He calls the warning when Gustav's speed confirms the deception, but the resulting clash catches Folan while Yarki immobilizes him. A blast disintegrates his left arm, shoulder, and part of his chest; Zaliban survivors carry him away after treatment, leaving him alive but severely wounded. (Chapters 548–550)

Appearance and personality
