Jabal

Jabal is Sahil's lookalike, trained lieutenant, and expendable double. His ability to sense bloodline activation makes him a formidable security commander, but the same substitution scheme that protects Sahil also makes Jabal the target of the MBO's tracking operation.

Biography

The double becomes the target

Sahil reveals that Jabal has been trained to resemble him and, if necessary, die in his place. The substitution succeeds too well: MBO agents implant their tracker in Jabal, and his detection of Gustav Oslov's God Eyes energy exposes the attempted trap. After Sahil disappears, Jabal assumes operational control, withdraws the Red Jackets, watches the suspected abduction site, moves weapons, and fortifies the warehouse against retaliation. (Chapters 546–550 and 597–618)

Capture and execution

Gustav infiltrates Jabal's defended hall and incapacitates rather than immediately kills him because the system's objective still requires the target alive. Jabal survives the subsequent explosion while being carried away, but that reprieve lasts only a day: Gustav decapitates him and then extracts the Energy Beacon bloodline from his corpse. His death ends his command and turns his signature detection ability into one of Gustav's acquired tools. (Chapters 619 and 623–625)

Appearance and personality

Jabal is deliberately made nearly identical to Sahil, with only a slight difference in voice offering an immediate clue to the substitution. He is vigilant, disciplined, and prepared to challenge intruders, but also accepts a role built around another man's survival. Once placed in command, he responds to danger through surveillance, layered defenses, and troop requests rather than reckless pursuit. (Chapters 546–550 and 597–618)

Bloodlines and abilities

The Energy Beacon bloodline lets Jabal sense the activation of bloodline abilities within his detection range. This makes covert supernatural action around him difficult and helps him notice both Gustav and later attacks on his base. It does not reveal every mundane deception or prevent overwhelming physical infiltration, and Gustav ultimately neutralizes him without granting him a decisive defense. (Chapters 547–548 and 608–619)

Relationships

• Sahil: Jabal is Sahil's right-hand man, physical double, and intended sacrificial substitute.
• Gustav Oslov: Jabal detects and challenges Gustav, who later captures, executes, and takes his bloodline.
