Captain Spark

Captain Spark commands the mixed MBO squad deployed into Mendologa's dangerous facility and has to reconcile veteran skepticism with the younger team's capabilities.

Biography

Testing the attached officers

Spark warns that incapable members will be left behind after Davidson questions the younger officers' usefulness. E.E answers with a challenge of his own, creating pressure before the squad even lands. Spark nevertheless keeps the combined group moving and relies on Davidson's mapping and the younger members' specialized senses once the facility disrupts ordinary routes. (Chapters 1028–1036)

Command through the facility

As portals, pits, and hostile encounters fragment the original plan, Spark coordinates rather than clinging to the initial hierarchy. The squad combines Davidson's transformed strength with Angy's, E.E.'s, and the others' abilities, restores communications, and completes the mission. Spark survives with the unit, having seen the attached five justify their place instead of being left behind. (Chapters 1041–1049)

Appearance and personality

The corpus does not isolate a detailed physical portrait of Spark. Spark is blunt, demanding, and initially skeptical, but remains results-oriented enough to use every member's contribution when the environment makes cooperation necessary. (Chapters 1028–1049)

Bloodlines and abilities

Spark's named bloodline and formal rank are not established. The captain's clearest demonstrated ability is operational command of a specialist squad through a facility where maps, portals, and combat conditions change rapidly. (Chapters 1033–1049)
