Brons Midely
Brons Midely is a senior Dracon delegate whose confidence in Captain Strum shapes her response to the IYSOP tournament and later Alliance politics.
Biography
Trusting Strum's tournament severity
When another Dracon questions whether “Little Strum” has been given too much freedom, Brons answers that he does only what is needed to bring home the championship. Her pride supports Strum's severe competitive methods and frames his conduct as service to planetary prestige rather than uncontrolled brutality. (Chapters 1251–1275)
Refusing intervention for Ozious
During the later Alliance crisis, a male Midely asks whether they should have helped the Ozis to avoid criticism. Brons dismisses the concern, concluding that Planet Ozious will lose its leadership status anyway. Her response extends tournament pragmatism into politics: she prioritizes the delegation's position over rescue or reputation among a declining rival. (Chapter 1330)
Appearance and personality
Brons is presented as a dignified Dracon woman whose speech carries pride and certainty. She is protective of Strum, competitive, and politically unsentimental, judging choices by whether they advance her planet's standing. (Chapters 1251–1330)
Bloodlines and abilities
No personal bloodline, formal rank, or combat mechanic is demonstrated. Brons's influence is expressed through delegation status, patronage of Strum, and participation in interplanetary decisions. (Chapters 1251–1330)
