Elderwood Guardian core

History

Arthur recovers the green S-class core after the Elderwood Guardian dies in the Dire Tombs and partially draws from it during his recovery. Because its affinity appears compatible with Tessia's plant magic, he gives it to her. The assimilation grants a beast will but also carries corruption that destabilizes her core and later becomes leverage used against her family. (Chapters 36–50, 58–76, and 88–89)

Properties and use

The core contains mana and the Elderwood Guardian's will. In Tessia, it strengthens plant-based manifestations and enables large vine attacks, but the corrupted will can overwhelm her judgment and seize control of her body. During Cecilia's occupation, the will also becomes the place where Tessia's suppressed consciousness remains anchored. The later will is an integrated power, not a separately carried core. (Chapters 58–76, 88–99, 348, and 380)
