Professor Glory

Professor Glory is a Xyrus Academy battle-class instructor whose harsh tests are paired with a consistent responsibility for student survival.

Biography

Recorded appearances

Glory teaches a class containing Arthur, Tessia, Lucas, Curtis, Claire, and Clive, using demanding exercises to expose weaknesses rather than reward pedigree. During the failed dungeon excursion, the educational role becomes a real command: she fights Snarler queens and corrupted forces while trying to keep inexperienced students alive. Her willingness to release greater personal power and engage the threat directly shows that the severity of her classroom is preparation, not indifference. The disaster nevertheless exceeds what an academy exercise can contain, leaving students injured and establishing how quickly Xyrus's reforms can be overtaken by the wider infiltration of Dicathen. (Chapters 56–60, 62, 65–69, and 96)

Appearance and personality

The evidence emphasizes Glory's formidable, disciplined bearing and blunt instructional style more than fine physical detail. She is demanding, confident in battle, and protective when a controlled test becomes lethal. (Chapters 56–60 and 65–69)

Relationships

  • Arthur Leywin and Tessia Eralith: Students whose unusual abilities Glory tests within a broader class rather than treating as exempt from instruction. (Chapters 56–60 and 65–69)
  • Clive Graves: One of the students under her responsibility during training and the failed excursion. (Chapters 56–69)

Mana, aether, and abilities

Glory combines dual-sword combat with fire and sand magic. A necklace appears to suppress or limit some of her power, but the exact mechanism is not fully explained; removing or releasing it accompanies a stronger combat showing. She has no demonstrated aether art. (Chapters 56–69)

Items

  • Twin swords, dimension ring, and limiter-like necklace: Glory uses these in instruction and combat, but none is established as a separately cataloged notable artifact. (Chapters 56–69)
