Clive Graves

Clive Graves is Xyrus Academy's student-council vice president, a ranged fighter whose possessive admiration for Tessia makes him immediately hostile to Arthur.

Biography

Recorded appearances

Clive uses student office, noble prejudice, and his proximity to Tessia Eralith to challenge Arthur Leywin, treating the younger student as an intruder rather than evaluating him fairly. His hostility does not remove him from shared danger: he joins the academy expedition into Widow's Crypt and must apply his unusual ranged augmentation within a group facing corrupted dungeon forces. During Xyrus's collapse, Clive becomes one of the students caught under Draneeve's occupation and can only point Arthur toward Elijah's abductors after Lucas is defeated. The crisis reduces office and jealousy to secondary concerns, leaving his relevance in what he witnesses and survives. (Chapters 46–47, 55, 57, 62, 65–67, and 95–98)

Appearance and personality

Clive is status-conscious, possessive toward Tessia, and openly antagonistic to Arthur. Under lethal pressure he is less commanding, but remains observant enough to identify Draneeve and the escape mechanism after the assault. (Chapters 46–47 and 95–98)
