Hemlock Feyrer

Hemlock Feyrer, publicly revealed as Malik Alshayatin, is the Monolith's leader and the principal human advocate of its sacrificial cause.

Biography

The Monolith's final leader

Hemlock maintains a calm human cover while directing the Monolith through agents such as Brian and Laurenta, then murders Laurenta when Ren's visit threatens the façade. He tries to seize authority within the emerging alliance, but Kevin uses the poisoned Nillinham Dagger and anticipates Everblood's countertrap. Hemlock survives the initial heart strike through a mana film and transforms demonically, yet his poisoned mana and final confrontation with Ren end the Monolith's central leadership. Appearance and personality

Hemlock's human form is composed and authoritative. His transformation covers him in dark scales and produces wings, exposing the bloodline hidden beneath the political mask. He is manipulative, patient, and convinced that sacrificing individuals is justified if it advances the Monolith's cause. (Chapters 603, 613, 662–675)

Powers and abilities

Hemlock is explicitly SSS-. He projects tangible sword energies and yellow rings, suppresses weaker bloodlines, and uses a demonic transformation for greater physical power. A thin mana film can partly divert a heart strike, but poison that disrupts mana undermines this defense. (Chapters 613, 662, 665–675)
