History

A remembered trump card

Kevin Voss acquires the dagger by acting on his recovered memories and treats it as the trump card for his assault on Malik Alshayatin. After coating it with the Poison of the Medheives, he throws it through a film of mana and into Malik's back. The apparent success is part of Everblood's trap, which places Kevin inside a hallucination and turns the same poisoned blade against his abdomen. Kevin anticipated the broader confrontation, removes the dagger after Everblood's death, and begins treating his wound, but its subsequent custody is not shown. (Chapters 665–667)

Properties and functions

• The dagger is rated SS rank and can sever mana, aura, and demonic energy. Its description specifically identifies it as throwable and states that an off-guard target of a higher rank can be killed with it. (Chapter 665)
