Durara

Durara is Inferno's third elder and the senior duergar who unknowingly promotes Ren's Karl disguise.

Biography

Inferno's last internal defense

Durara supervises the disguised Ren, accepts his staged work on Inferno's beacons, and promotes him as the apparent technician succeeds. When the coalition attacks, that trust makes the sabotage especially devastating. Durara becomes the headquarters' principal internal defender, survives a massive blast while badly burned, kills Ultruk through the heart, and launches one final attack as Ren, Waylan, and Angelica escape through the restored portal. (Chapters 332–358)

Appearance and personality

Durara is an aged female duergar with blue skin, a wooden staff twice her height, and a red orb mounted at its tip. Suspicious, authoritative, and relentless, she continues fighting after disfigurement and severe injury. (Chapters 336–358)

Powers and abilities

Durara is an elite staff fighter near the top of Inferno's hierarchy. She manifests bloodlust as a red skull, levitates debris, gathers enormous mana spheres, projects destructive energy, and survives explosions that kill or incapacitate lesser fighters. Her exchange is treated as SS-level, but no exact personal rank is securely stated. (Chapters 347–358)
