Lilica

Lilica Balrean is a Forest Elf first introduced as the leader of the five-member EmeraldLeaf Adventurer team. What begins as a wary exchange of information with Michael Fang becomes a durable military, economic, and personal alliance. Over decades of campaigns and administration, she grows from an independent adventurer into one of Michael's most trusted subordinates and ultimately becomes the first Queen to reunite the Forest and High Elves.

Biography

War Rune Awakening and the First Territory

The corpus first presents Lilica after her awakening rather than showing the awakening itself. She is already an experienced Forest Elven adventurer from the Tertan Woods and leads the EmeraldLeaf team. After the confrontation involving the Gogi Lord, she introduces herself to Michael and offers the team as a future contact at the Guild tavern. The offer marks a practical change from strangers sharing a dangerous encounter to potential business partners. (Chapter 48)

Michael initially doubts whether information from an unfamiliar Elven leader might be incomplete or deliberately altered. Memories extracted from the Gogi Lord confirm that Lilica told him the truth, giving her offer real credibility even though neither side yet owes the other loyalty. Her earliest role is therefore defined less by formal allegiance than by useful knowledge, professional caution, and a willingness to leave a channel open after immediate danger has passed. Saphirelake Admission and EmeraldLeaf Contact

Lilica reaches Michael's territory with an urgent warning: the Lionheart Adventurers learned its location through one of her intoxicated teammates, and their leader possesses support and a Lord Seal. She feels responsible for the leak, but admits that EmeraldLeaf cannot fight the stronger force behind it. By arriving before the attack, she gives Michael's people time to prepare and turns her team's mistake into the first substantial act of assistance between them. (Chapters 94–95)

Continued contact deepens the relationship. In Xiltra, Lilica shares what she knows about a Lionheart higher-up and the Zentika Empire's growing interest in the Untamed Jungle. She later studies the concealed canopy bridges and coordinated barrages in Michael's territory, recognizing both their ingenuity and how quickly his power has grown. When EmeraldLeaf begins cooperating more closely, she helps establish an exchange of armaments for agricultural blueprints, herbs, and other Forest Elven goods. (Chapters 139, 161, 166–168)

Lilica also becomes an important interpreter during the exploration beneath the territory. She recognizes Ancient Elven Tongue in the Temple of the Forgotten, but finds it mixed with an even older language and warns that the site is both extraordinarily old and dangerous. Her expertise does not make her reckless: the writing and oppressive presence convince her that the group is dealing with forces outside an ordinary adventurer's experience. (Chapter 172)

The Lord Rift and Daniel’s Loss

At the Temple of the Forgotten, the pressure becomes so severe that Lilica cannot advance beyond the first few steps. She nevertheless records the transferred words and explains the danger associated with the Old Ones, giving Michael a framework for treating the Temple as both an opportunity and a potentially fatal threat. Her choice to contribute what she can, while openly acknowledging her limit, establishes a recurring combination of curiosity and disciplined restraint. (Chapter 173)

As the Jungle Expedition approaches, Lilica and Liopham serve in Michael's mixed combat groups, combining Forest Elven Soultraits and archery with Demon Monkeys under his control. After Michael leaves on another urgent mission, Lilica argues that EmeraldLeaf should repay the unusual amount of support his territory has provided. The team commits to supplying armaments and agricultural knowledge, shifting from temporary guests toward contributors invested in the settlement's survival and growth. (Chapters 209, 238)

Battle Exchange and Interdimensional Flag War

While Michael is occupied elsewhere, Lilica assumes increasingly consequential logistical duties. He entrusts her with monster parts from more than a thousand Superior Existences, and she immediately carries them to the Underground Forging Hall so they can become high-quality armaments. Later, she joins Michael and Tiara in raiding a Kitsun Beast Ranch, securing records and valuables before Zeroa destroys the facility and helping turn a punitive strike into an intelligence and resource operation. Lilica also demonstrates that accepting Michael's gifts does not mean pursuing power without limits. After receiving a second four-star Soultrait, she and other subordinates decline further insertions because each addition sharply increases the energy required to refine their War Runes. Unlike Lords, they must obtain energy through active absorption and combat, while part of their gains passes to Michael. Her refusal is an informed calculation about sustainable growth rather than a rejection of his trust. (Chapter 436)

Savannah Alliances and Regional War

When Michael returns late from the Interdimensional Flag War, Lilica and the other Forest Elves greet him with relief. Their Links showed that he remained alive, but could not explain his delay, leaving the territory worried and without answers. Lilica's response shows how far the relationship has moved beyond commerce: Michael's absence now affects a community in which she has both personal attachments and operational responsibilities, and she is ready to deliver the reports accumulated while he was away. The regional war exacts a personal cost when Liopham and Pheli are killed. Lilica leaves the Origin Expanse to report their deaths and meet their families, accepting the burden that falls on the surviving leader of EmeraldLeaf. She later returns to strategic work and notices the Zentika Empire's unexpected refusal to request an armistice despite its perilous position. Grief does not remove her from command, but it permanently changes the team she once led. (Chapters 589, 647)

Arx, the Sacred Desert, and Bloodline Revelations

Lilica remains willing to join Michael's increasingly audacious operations, and she enjoys the dangerous momentum of the Savannah campaign while still keeping younger Forest Elves such as Mika under control. Her humor and appetite for risk do not erase hierarchy: when Mika jokes at the wrong moment, she disciplines him immediately. The dynamic makes her both a companion in the group's recklessness and the senior Forest Elf expected to prevent enthusiasm from becoming disorder. (Chapter 652)

At the jungle border, overwhelming enemy numbers provoke real fear, but Lilica continues directing the defense. She orders a retreat into the Untamed Jungle and activates Plan Zeldron rather than allowing the defenders to be surrounded. Working with Tatjana and the Elementals, she coordinates specialized arrows and terrain-based resistance. After Arx is established, Michael trusts Lilica and the other Forest Elves to orient Jason, extending her responsibilities from battlefield command to integrating volatile newcomers. The Nest and the Supreme Human Alliance

Michael grants Lilica administrative access to the Summoning Gates alongside Tiara, Hiraku, Siegfried, and Rebecca. The permissions cover both Portal Attachment and Summoning, placing her among the small group authorized to operate infrastructure connecting distant territories and populations. This is a quieter form of power than her archery, but it demonstrates institutional trust: she can now act on systems central to migration, reinforcement, and the territory's continued expansion without waiting for Michael to perform every task. Within Arx, Lilica also becomes known as the “Forest Elven Demon” because of the severity of Mika's training and discipline. Her harder public image coexists with concern for the entire territory. When anxiety rises around Michael's plans, she asks him to spend SoulStar Fragments on himself as a visible assurance that he can survive what lies ahead. The request treats morale as a strategic resource and Michael's safety as a collective concern rather than his private decision. (Chapters 837, 887)

Trials, Divinities, and the Titan War

Lilica refuses to let Michael enter the Temple of the Forgotten alone. She, Tiara, Hiraku, and nearly a hundred others insist on accompanying him despite the unknown danger. The Temple accepts Michael but its pressure prevents most followers from advancing, proving that loyalty cannot overcome every supernatural boundary. Even so, Lilica's refusal to remain safely behind matters: by this point she sees protecting Michael as an active responsibility, not merely obedience to his orders. (Chapter 920)

When the Dragys threaten the territory during Michael's absence, Lilica leads strategic discussion instead of assuming he will return to solve the problem. She proposes guerrilla warfare using the defenders' varied races, jungle monsters, and wasps, while acknowledging that stalling the enemy will cost lives. During the Titan War's aftermath she again invokes Michael's trust as authority to act, arguing that the border threat must be removed while minimizing casualties among the territory's people. God Wars and the Primal Conflict

Lilica's leadership matures into candid counsel. She arranges for Michael to attend a meeting with farmers who are prepared to remain despite danger, because she believes he needs to see their resolve directly. When he tries to account for every possibility himself, she tells him to rely on the territory's defenses, reimburse losses, and delegate. Her intervention teaches that responsible rule includes trusting others to make choices rather than protecting them through unilateral control. (Chapter 1025)

Her connection to the Forest Elves also deepens. Lilica, Mika, and other young Elves repeatedly return to the World Tree because its spirits call them for long conversations about the universe, the Origin Expanse, combat, and their sacred mission. Back in the territory, Lilica reports its immense scale at a leadership meeting, including more than a thousand Pentagon forts and billions of linked beings. She has become both a student of Elven inheritance and an administrator of a vast domain. (Chapters 1032, 1047)

The Unknown Domain and the New Era

Almost a century later, Lilica is the Forest Elves' first business channel with the New Primal and is repeatedly placed before Elven Union reporters. She resents Elders who exploit her connection to Michael, and openly challenges the premise that Forest Elves are unworthy of rising beside High Elves. Her answer reframes their future as a matter of when, not if, revealing an ambition grounded in the achievements of Forest Elves she has helped train and organize. (Chapter 1104)

When High Elves challenge her people, Lilica abandons administrative work to protect them and faces Belleanis at roughly the same Tier. Though Bella is a Lord and Lilica a subordinate, Lilica combines concealment, enhanced perception, rapid fire, and a heavily enchanted bow to strike six weak points, then bluffs that the arrows are poisoned to force surrender. She subsequently condemns Elder Giltor's attempt to turn the victory into a bid for the High Elven throne. (Chapters 1105–1107)

The High Elven Queen offers reunification and a position at her right hand. Lilica accepts, and within a century becomes the first Queen of the United Elves despite not being born a High Elf. The outcome fulfills her earlier insistence that Forest Elves can rise without requiring her to endorse the Elders' reckless seizure of power. Her authority emerges from demonstrated leadership, a negotiated union, and the record of a people she repeatedly refused to treat as inferior. (Chapter 1108)

Forest Elven appearance and temperament

Lilica is explicitly described with long hair arranged in a neat ponytail and a mischievous smile. As a Forest Elf, she has the race's long, pointed ears and acute hearing, traits shown when EmeraldLeaf detects quiet remarks and reacts to sounds during combat. The corpus does not consistently specify her hair color, eye color, clothing, or a permanent set of armor, so those details should not be inferred from her race or later office. Her manner combines teasing informality with disciplined caution. She steals Michael's snacks, mocks his temporary baldness, and can enjoy a reckless operation, but she also warns him about threats, acknowledges fear, orders retreats, and refuses inefficient Soultrait growth. As a leader she is willing to scold Mika, confront Michael's overprotective habits, and oppose Elven Elders when their ambition endangers the people whose sacrifices they claim to represent. Soultraits, archery, and territorial command

Lilica is a specialist archer whose early EmeraldLeaf style depends on synchronized volleys. The team's Tier 2 Woodwoven Bow Artifacts use Force enchantments to accelerate Piecker arrows, whose altered Piercing enchantment activates only above a speed threshold. The combination can penetrate a Hard-scale Lizard, but consumes enough energy that each Elf can fire only seven such shots before replenishing. Michael's criticism pushes them to use the costly volleys more selectively within larger formations. (Chapters 166–167)

By her duel with Belleanis, Lilica's concealment revolves around Silent Reaper and Invisibility. Silent Reaper reaches seven stars and suppresses energy fluctuations, vibrations, sounds, and even scent, but does not evolve. Invisible Projectiles evolves into the eight-star Invisibility, which can hide Lilica, her clothes, Artifacts, and projectiles. The combination is powerful but not absolute: Bella eventually locates her by flooding the arena with energy shockwaves, giving Lilica only a limited preparation window. (Chapter 1106)

Weakness Detection evolves into Weakness Exploitation and identifies gaps in an opponent's defense, while Bullseye improves shot placement and Rupture worsens wounds made by sharp objects. Foundation Break, a gift from Michael, briefly raises Lilica's physical capabilities enough for her to imitate Mika's Rapid Fire and release six arrows in succession. This burst is a momentary amplification rather than her ordinary firing speed, and its success still depends on prepared arrows, a suitable bow, and exploitable targets. (Chapter 1106)

Lilica's late Legendary Bow Artifact has several enchantments and can multiply projectile velocity when supplied with sufficient energy. Her duel shows that her effectiveness is not reducible to statistics: she analyzes Bella's Drain Soultrait, correctly infers that it requires an injury, removes the arrows with extra force, and invents a poison bluff to end the fight. Her own exact War Rune Tier milestones are not stated consistently enough to reconstruct a formal chronology, although she is fighting among Divine Lifeforms by the final era. (Chapter 1106)

Outside personal combat, Lilica contributes Ancient Elven language knowledge, jungle scouting, unit training, strategic planning, logistics, and administration. She can translate part of the Temple's writing, coordinate retreats and guerrilla concepts, supervise forging inputs, operate Summoning Gate functions, and report development across an enormous territory. Relationships

Michael Fang

Michael Fang begins as an uncertain contact who verifies Lilica's intelligence before trusting her. Their alliance grows through warnings, trade, joint campaigns, and Lilica's decision to become his subordinate. She accepts Soultraits and authority from him but retains the confidence to refuse unsustainable upgrades, criticize his tendency to shoulder everything alone, and act without him when the territory is threatened. By the final era, her association with the New Primal is politically valuable, yet she resents Elders who try to exploit it. (Chapters 48–49, 94, 166–168, 436, 927, 1025, 1104)

Michael, in turn, entrusts Lilica with weapons production, raids, infrastructure permissions, and the integration of newcomers. He predicts the evolution of Invisible Projectiles, gifts her Foundation Break, and helps create the Super Awakened whose achievements strengthen her argument for Forest Elven equality. Their bond never erases her separate responsibility to her race; instead, service in his territory gives her the experience and standing from which she can accept reunification and eventually rule the United Elves. EmeraldLeaf Adventurer team

Lilica leads Liopham, Pheli Zan, Mika Zels, and Opars Zelk as a tightly coordinated five-Elf team before their integration into Michael's territory. She initially resists splitting them among separate archer units because they have fought together for years, but gradually adapts their methods to a larger army. Liopham and Pheli's deaths force her to face their families as the surviving leader, while her later supervision of Mika preserves both the affection and demanding standards of their original team. Tiara and Michael’s other leaders

Tiara becomes one of Lilica's closest operational peers. They fight together in assault groups, raid the Kitsun Beast Ranch with Michael, receive Summoning Gate permissions, and jointly refuse to let him face the Temple alone. Lilica also works with Hiraku, Tatjana, Caesus, and other commanders in the territory's councils. Forest Elves and High Elves

Lilica remains answerable to the Forest Elven tribe and its Elders even after joining Michael. She carries goods between communities, relays deaths to families, visits the World Tree, and later manages Forest Elven production and deployments. Her loyalty is to the people's welfare rather than the Elders' prestige: she rejects Giltor's unauthorized attempt to seize the High Elven throne, yet accepts the High Elven Queen's legitimate offer of reunification. Woodwoven Bow and Pieckers

Lilica's early signature weapon is a Tier 2 Woodwoven Bow, part of a matching EmeraldLeaf set apparently carved from the same tree. Its Force enchantment supplies the velocity needed to trigger the Piercing enchantment on consumable Piecker arrows. The combination offers exceptional penetration at the cost of heavy energy use and damaged monster materials, making ammunition choice and target value important parts of Lilica's early combat economy. Legendary Bow Artifact and rare arrows

By the final Elven conflict, Lilica uses a Legendary Bow Artifact with multiple enchantments and a feature that increases projectile velocity severalfold when fed enough energy. Her quiver contains rare, high-quality arrows that can carry Invisibility and Rupture. The corpus does not state that this later bow is the same object as EmeraldLeaf's Woodwoven Bow, so the two weapons should not be conflated despite serving the same combat specialty. (Chapter 1106)

Lord Seal intelligence

Lilica does not own the Lord Seal associated with the Lionheart threat, but her knowledge of it is crucial to Michael's survival.
