Felix

Felix Feline was Rune's younger brother and her rival for succession to Feline Cat City. His apparent attempt to remove her grew from manipulation by their mother, Willow; exposing that deception forced Felix to choose between the parent he wanted to avenge and the family she had taught him to distrust.

Biography

A succession rival shaped by a hidden mother

Felix and Rune were the two viable heirs of Oberon. Both were Saints who inherited their father's bloodline and potential, but they competed through different forms of support: Rune held the stronger public image, while Felix cultivated political backing and married daughters of three clan leaders. His candidacy was therefore serious even though most citizens preferred his sister. (Chapters 899 and 901)

That rivalry turned lethal when Felix hired assassins to seize Rune. He acted cautiously, using intermediaries and his Catkin concealment to meet allies from Skythorn Falcon City; he preferred Rune to be captured alive, but accepted a plan in which she could be attacked again if the first operation failed.
