Eliyard Kingson

Eliyard Kingson is the King Stage headmaster of Skyfall's Royal Academy. Initially introduced as an experienced educator, he is violently coerced into Nux's service and thereafter uses his office to conceal Nux's base and support his allies. He later serves in Alcimus's wartime court on the Forgotten Continent.

Biography

Headmaster and teacher

Eliyard first meets Nux as the Royal Academy's headmaster and Candice's new teacher. He responds to Nux's teasing with laughter and presents Candice as a gifted student who learns quickly, showing the socially polished manner expected of his office. His large mansion and authority over teachers, students, servants, and Academy rules also make him an attractive institutional target when Nux needs a secure base. (Chapters 286–287 and 385)

The source does not describe Eliyard's earlier rise to headmaster or his own education. By the time he appears, he has held the role long enough to be practiced at public speaking and Academy administration, but these are professional competencies rather than a supplied personal history. Coercion into Nux's network

Nux, Ember, and their allies invade Eliyard's home. Eliyard first assumes Nux is an enemy spy and attempts to fight with a sword, then tries to flee after being overwhelmed. Ember identifies his defiance as a strategy meant to secure a quick death because he fears pain; under stabbing and the threat of further torture, Eliyard agrees to become Nux's slave. Nux's Slave Seal then punishes the thought of escape with extreme pain. Nux takes over Eliyard's mansion, replaces its servants with his own people, and orders Eliyard to dismiss Candice as a student. Eliyard complies, then uses his established fearless public persona to misdirect Keeve's search of the Academy and mansion. He later conducts Evane's Academy farewell with practiced authority while addressing Nux privately as Master. These actions preserve Nux's hidden position, but the seal's control limits how much independent loyalty can be inferred from them. (Chapters 388, 394, and 413)

Service during the continental war

Eliyard later accompanies Alcimus during the confrontation that precedes the deciding continental war. He rebukes Nux for interrupting two Emperors, only for Nux to remind him of Amaya's and Ember's low opinion of him. The exchange also reveals Eliyard's strong personal interest in Amaya, though no reciprocal relationship is shown. (Chapter 598)

When Alcimus orders all soldiers summoned and declares that he will personally serve as general, Eliyard immediately begins carrying out the mobilization. This is his last direct action in the original timeline supplied by the corpus. A later Eliyard enslaved during Nux's ten-thousand-year illusion is an illusionary recreation, not evidence that the original man was captured a second time or survived to that date. Appearance and personality

Eliyard is about 1.8 meters tall with a large build, brown eyes, a straight nose, thin eyebrows, and a bald head. At his introduction he wears a lavish purple coat. The injuries and facial disfigurement inflicted during Nux's assault are treated with healing potions, but no later detailed description establishes whether they left permanent marks. He can be jovial, articulate, and administratively capable in public. Under threat, he initially performs courage convincingly but is intensely afraid of pain and prioritizes avoiding it over continued resistance. That fear makes the Slave Seal especially effective against him. Even so, his calm deception of Keeve shows that fear does not prevent him from acting under pressure when obedience itself aligns with avoiding the seal's punishment. Abilities and cultivation

Eliyard is a King Stage cultivator. When Nux attacks him, he produces a sword and charges with lethal intent, but Nux defeats him one-sidedly while holding back. Eliyard's attempt to escape is then stopped by lower-stage assassins targeting his leg muscles and other nonlethal points. The scene establishes his stage and willingness to use a sword, but gives no named sword art, affinity, spell, cultivation method, Domain, Law, or successful combat feat. (Chapters 385–387)

His demonstrated strengths are chiefly institutional and performative. He can manage Academy ceremonies, alter student and household arrangements, conceal a hostile occupation from an experienced investigator, and execute military mobilization orders. None of these is a supernatural power, and no cultivation progression is supplied after the King Stage. The illusionary Eliyard of Chapter 1413 cannot establish a later state for the original.
