Vincent is a disowned prince of the Fynn Kingdom, Adeline’s husband, and the biological father of Lux’s Half-Elf body. Killed while protecting Adeline from his royal family, he persists as an Earth-bound spirit until Lux reunites the couple and eventually restores him to life.

Biography

Abyssal invasion and broken memories

Vincent’s history is first reconstructed through Adeline: a publicly cold, charismatic prince privately becomes an adventurous joker, buys the enslaved Elf as his guard, and later chooses marriage to her over his royal status. When his father dies, King Yvar’s faction attacks; Vincent shields Adeline, suffers a mortal wound, and dies before their child is born. Nearly two decades of regret keep his soul beside his grave. Lux discovers the ghost, enables Adeline to see him, and shelters him inside Blackfire. Watching Yvar’s punishment brings Vincent sadness rather than satisfaction, revealing that his deepest motive was a peaceful family life, not the throne or revenge. Open Heaven’s Gate

By Lux’s wedding, Vincent has a living body again and stands with Adeline while their son prepares for the ceremony. Vincent is a handsome red-haired human whose resemblance to Lux is strong enough that Adeline and Yvar initially mistake the Half-Elf for him. His jokes often become tactless, yet choosing Adeline over rank, shielding her from a Saint, and remaining Earth-bound from concern for her establish genuine devotion beneath the boastfulness. Earth-bound persistence

After death, Vincent retains identity, memory, speech, and awareness for nearly two decades because unresolved regret binds him to the mortal world. Lux can perceive and communicate with him, can temporarily let Adeline and Aurora see him, and can store his soul safely inside Blackfire. Vincent’s spirit is much weaker than a corporeal Spectre: his punches pass harmlessly through Lux, he cannot affect ordinary living people, and his soul risks disintegration near clashes of great power. Mortal protection and restoration

Before dying, Vincent can fight alongside Adeline during their escape and deliberately uses his body to shield her from Saint Lennox’s attack. The defense saves Adeline but inflicts the mortal injury that kills him, demonstrating both its effectiveness and absolute cost. By Chapter 1232 he has been revived into a tangible body capable of feeling pain, but no source explains who performed the restoration or grants him a new combat rank.
