Queen Bianca
Queen Bianca is the oracle-queen of Agartha, wife of King Septimius, biological mother of Shayna, and adoptive mother of Aurora. Her foreknowledge leads her to sacrifice herself for her daughters; her lingering soul is later preserved by Lux and ultimately returned to embodied life.
Biography
The Divine Army reckoning
Bianca meets Lux in a vision of the past and recognizes him through divination as someone tied to Aurora's fate. Knowing both the date of her death and the choice her daughter will one day face, she entrusts Lux with a message: Aurora was wholly her daughter despite lacking a blood tie and must not blame herself for Bianca's sacrifice. The vision then shows Bianca, already mortally wounded, raising a light-wreathed sword to kill a monster threatening both girls (Chapter 929).
Aurora later reaches the same remembered space and confronts Bianca with grief. Bianca explains that the alternative future she foresaw left her husband and daughters dead, so defying fate at the cost of her own life was a deliberate choice, not Aurora's fault. At her tomb, Bianca's ghost finally sees her reunited family and prepares to pass on, but admits she still wants to witness their future. Lux's Black Coffin preserves her fading soul for recovery instead of forcing resurrection upon her (Chapters 930, 933, 944).
While still spectral, Bianca intervenes when Lux's killing intent threatens the Beast King and his daughters. She asserts that Lux does not harm innocents, offers the enemy a controlled transition into Blackfire, and pierces his heart with a spectral sword so the coffin can absorb him before death. Her judgment prevents Lux from committing an act he would regret, showing that restoration gives her a new protective role beyond her original family (Chapters 1022, 1024).
The rescue from the Abyss and the final war
By the final alliance, Bianca has fully recovered and received a new body through Lux's help. She stands beside Septimius as Agartha joins the war, transforming earlier ghostly reunions into an enduring return to her household.
