Livia

Livia is Laura’s identical twin and one of Sid’s two younger dwarf sisters. Rescued from an orphanage after Sid’s first resurrection, she grows up under Grandma Annie’s guardianship, becomes an apprentice alchemist, and finds a lasting home within Heaven’s Gate. (Chapters 196, 199, 202, 638)

Biography

Awakening and Leaf Village

Sid undertakes Lux’s assassination while imagining the comfortable future the payment could buy for Livia and Laura. His death and resurrection bring him back to the twins with red eyes and a cold body, details Livia notices immediately. Although uneasy, she accepts his explanation, retrieves the hairpins he gave them on their ninth birthday, and leaves the orphanage because his promise of food, warmth, and friends offers the security both girls lack. (Chapters 196, 198, 199)

In Leaf Village, Livia gains more than refuge. Grandma Annie raises her, teaches her alchemy, and includes her in the work of supplying adventurers and villagers. Livia’s Slime Nora advances to Rank 4 when Heaven’s Gate’s members are strengthened, but Sid frames the improvement as a responsibility to keep learning rather than permission to take risks. Her path shifts from passive dependence into careful craft and companionship. (Chapters 202, 226, 433, 638)

Open Heaven’s Gate

When Sid and Scarlet are restored after the war and decide to marry, Livia shares Laura’s delight and anticipation of a niece or nephew. The twins later scatter petals as flower girls during the joint ceremony. Their presence turns Sid’s long struggle to provide for them into a peaceful family milestone: Livia no longer waits in dread for a brother who might never return, but helps welcome his bride into their household. (Chapters 1229, 1234)

Appearance and personality

Livia is a nine-year-old dwarf girl who looks exactly like Laura, with long light-brown hair and green eyes; the color of their hairpins is the practical way others distinguish them. She is observant enough to notice Sid’s altered eyes immediately and responds to uncertainty with quiet questions. With Nora she is gentle and encouraging, praising the Slime rather than displaying Laura’s more exuberant excitement. (Chapters 199, 433)

Abilities and skills

Livia trains as an apprentice alchemist under Grandma Annie. Her contribution centers on prepared crafting—potions, pills, equipment, and other consumables developed through continuing practice—rather than combat. The party consequently shelters her from high-ranked monsters and leaves her in defended locations during battles. No supplied chapter gives her a named personal spell, combat rank, or completed advancement beyond apprenticeship. (Chapters 433, 549, 613, 638)

Nora, Livia’s Baby Slime, becomes a Rank 4 Monster through the guild’s strengthening effect and gains speech. This gives Livia a capable Beast Companion, but Sid explicitly extends his warning to Nora: strength must be managed through Annie’s guidance, and neither child nor Slime is presented as ready for the dangerous front lines. (Chapter 433)
