Leah

Leah is the six-year-old youngest daughter of Great General Garret and Sarah. Her immediate friendship with Eiko helps Lux enter the Ousborne home peacefully, and her later bond with the baby Slime Holly gives her a place in Heaven’s Gate’s nursery community.

Biography

Heaven’s Gate and the continental wars

Leah finds Eiko inside her family’s residence and, after a moment of surprise, trusts the talking Slime enough to protect her from alarmed guards and lead her toward Sarah. That simple friendship gives Eiko access to the household while Ronan is approaching and helps Lux arrange the family’s evacuation. Leah follows Alexa during the crisis, travels safely inside Eiko, and reunites with her white-haired father in the Blackrock Clan. At Heaven’s Gate she chooses a pink Slime egg, carefully forms a Beast Companion contract, and names the newborn Holly. The uprooted noble child thereby gains both a new home and a companion to care for. (Chapters 617, 619, 621, 624, 633, 638)

The Divine Army reckoning

Leah’s cited appearance in this phase is domestic rather than martial. She enters Heaven’s Gate’s temple with her sisters and Emma to pray, only to find Lux surrounded by undergarments that Eiko has scattered from a divine gift box. Leah shares the group’s shocked withdrawal instead of accepting Lux’s awkward explanation. Nearby chapters show the larger consequence of her settled life: she and Holly regularly clean the nursery, and Lux entrusts her with helping other residents select Slime eggs. Her role has therefore developed from a protected refugee into a young caretaker, even though Chapter 919 itself supplies comic misunderstanding rather than direct conflict with the Divine Army. (Chapters 785–787, 818, 919)

Appearance and personality

Leah is a six-year-old girl raised as the daughter of a high-ranking Haca noble, so she knows formal courtesies despite her youth. She is openhearted, curious, protective, and quick to make friends, defending Eiko before she understands the danger facing her family. Her innocent questions and delight in Slimes frequently ease tense scenes. She nevertheless follows adult instructions during emergencies and handles Holly’s egg with conspicuous care. (Chapters 617, 619, 633, 638, 785)

Abilities and skills

Leah demonstrates no personal combat spell or formal rank. Her relevant skill is Beast Companion care: with Livia’s guidance she forms a contract that hatches Holly, later helps clean the Slime nursery, and is trusted to advise prospective caretakers. Holly is a Rank 1 Pink Baby Slime with Seed Bullet, but that projectile belongs to the companion and should not be credited to Leah herself. Leah’s lack of combat power is an important limit; during the Haca escape she depends on Alexa, Eiko, Lux, and the adults, and her later responsibility remains husbandry rather than frontline fighting. (Chapters 619, 621, 633, 785–787)

Relationships

  • Great General Garret and Sarah — Leah’s parents. She is evacuated after Garret’s apparent death and immediately recognizes him despite the aging caused by his sacrifice. (Chapter 624)
  • Alexa — Leah’s eldest sister and protector during the Haca crisis, responsible for packing her clothes and taking her away from Ronan. (Chapters 619–620)
  • Eiko — Leah’s first Slime friend and the companion who enables her family’s rescue. Their easy affection continues after the move to Heaven’s Gate. (Chapters 617, 624, 630–631)
  • Holly — Leah’s contracted Pink Baby Slime and best friend. Leah names her, feeds her, and helps maintain the nursery where she hatched. (Chapters 633, 785–787, 818)
  • Lux — Her family’s rescuer and guild leader, whom she calls Big Brother and questions with unguarded curiosity. (Chapters 624, 631, 634, 638)
