Flamma
Flamma is the Half-Orc son of Lady Avyanna and Barca, raised to become the Blackrock Clan's next chieftain. A talented but sheltered Deimos-ranked battle enthusiast, he joins Heaven's Gate after Lux gives him his first decisive defeat among his peers. (Chapters 583, 587, 631)
Biography
Heaven’s Gate and the continental wars
Flamma encounters Lux's group while rebelling against his parents' refusal to let him enter the Haca war. Angered by Cethus's proposal to steal the Blackrock Clan's Twin Flames, but intrigued that Lux rejected it, he forces both into “friendly” duels. Flamma brutally defeats Cethus and expects his equipment and natural strength to decide the second match, only for Lux to answer as a summoner and overwhelm him with coordinated creatures. The defeat exposes how protected spars and superior artifacts have limited Flamma's experience; rather than ending the relationship, it earns Lux the clan's respect and gives Flamma a stronger rival from whom he can learn. (Chapters 583, 591)
Flamma soon experiences Heaven's Gate's guild benefits and becomes interested in a community extending beyond the Blackrock Clan. When Lux leaves Lor Dhuga, Avyanna and Barca urge their son to go as well, arguing that remaining home will restrict his growth. Flamma accepts the pressure of representing his clan to the wider world and independently follows through the teleportation gate, joining Lux without needing a formal speech. His later availability for dungeon summoning shows that this choice turns him from a rebellious heir seeking a local fight into a mobile Heaven's Gate combatant. (Chapters 614, 631, 646)
The rescue from the Abyss and the final war
Before the final battle, Flamma trades barbs with Cethus and Gerhart over drinks, showing that former hostility has matured into the rough familiarity of comrades. He dies during the war, but his soul joins the fallen who return to restrain and batter Daniel, and he personally kicks the Pseudo-God during their collective retaliation. Lux then uses the Five Pillars of Eternity to restore Flamma and the other fallen through true resurrection rather than undeath. The outcome preserves both his willingness to fight for the guild and his future as the Blackrock heir instead of leaving that development cut short by sacrifice. (Chapters 1203, 1216, 1221)
Appearance and personality
Flamma is a young Half-Orc, one head shorter than Cethus, with a powerful body whose presence Lux initially fails to detect. His devilish smile, sarcastic humor, and scheming gaze make him less straightforward than his love of battle suggests. He is hot-headed, confident, and cruel when demonstrating superiority, but can recognize a legitimate loss and turns that humiliation into determination. By the final war, his humor resembles his parents' sharp banter, and he treats former rivals as companions worth fighting beside. (Chapters 583, 587, 1203)
Abilities and skills
Flamma is introduced as a Deimos-ranked Alpha Monster who combines exceptional physical durability with fire and close-combat techniques. Fire Snakes create mobile spirit flames that pursue airborne targets and can serve as his footholds, Wind Break knocks a flying enemy out of the air, and Brutal Smash and Brutal Swing channel his strength through fist or war axe. His body can withstand a heavily amplified spear strike, though that apparent invulnerability in his first duel actually comes from an earring rather than an innate defense. (Chapters 583, 585–587)
That earring grants exactly ten seconds of invincibility and then enters a twelve-hour cooldown. Flamma also carries Pseudo-Legendary equipment and a Pseudo-Legendary war axe, advantages that helped him dominate peers but left him overconfident. Once the invincibility window has been spent, layered crowd control, reflected force, and attacks from multiple directions overwhelm him; even his final four-snake charge requires Baronar to intervene before Lux's soul-damaging strike lands. His latest appearance does not document a formal rank increase or new technique, so his mature state is defined more by wider combat experience and loyalty than by a stated advancement. (Chapters 586–588, 1203–1221)
Relationships
Lady Avyanna and Barca are Flamma's parents and mentors, protective enough to restrict him from war but wise enough to send him away when shelter begins limiting him. His rivalry with Cethus begins in brutality and develops into reciprocal mockery and joint combat. Lux is the first peer to defeat him decisively and the guildmaster whose wider world gives Flamma room to grow, while Gerhart becomes another companion in the group's abrasive final-war camaraderie. (Chapters 583, 587, 631, 1203, 1216)
