Eligor

Eligor is a former Archangel turned Abyssal Lord who rules the Abyss’s 555th Floor. When the invasion of Elysium stalls, he unites the central Abyssal forces and redirects them toward Agartha, where his tactical success ultimately draws Lux’s fatal vengeance.

Biography

Abyssal invasion and broken memories

With the Abyssal Gates sealed and the invasion bogged down, Eligor dismisses continued frontal attacks on Dragons and High Elves and proposes mobile bombardment, retreat, and divide-and-conquer tactics. Confidence in his strength and contempt for the other Demigods motivate him to volunteer as commander until Nyarlathotep returns. No rival challenges him, and Eligor reorganizes the coalition around an assault on hidden Agartha. He extracts entrance information directly from a conquered king’s soul, turning stolen memories into the foundation of a campaign that threatens one of Elysium’s strongest remaining kingdoms. The rescue from the Abyss and the final war

Eligor orders tunneling creatures to reopen Agartha’s destroyed approaches, shields the invading army from Poseidon’s main cannon, and leads more than thirty Demigods into close combat. He kills Agartha’s reconstructed founding king and joins Nyarlathotep against Lux and Aurora, but retreats with an anchored teleport artifact when the Outer God begins absorbing its own allies. After Aurora’s death, Lux forces Eligor into a Divine Duel, shatters his weapon, impales him, and kills him with repeated Divine Abyssal Touch blows. Blackfire refuses to consume the corpse, and Lux destroys much of the body, leaving no supported undead reconstruction or surviving form. (Chapters 1137–1144)

Appearance and personality

Eligor is a handsome, winged Fallen Angel who looks like a man in his mid-twenties despite being thousands of years old. He is arrogant, malicious, calculating, and certain that only Daniel and Nyarlathotep surpass him. That pride does not eliminate caution: he avoids stronger targets, reinforces defenses, and prepares a teleport anchor for disaster. His confidence collapses into fear when Nyarlathotep treats allied Demigods as fuel and when Lux’s final spear exceeds the power he expects from a Saint. (Chapters 1125, 1138, 1142–1144)

Abilities and skills

Eligor is a peak Demigod and former Archangel whose primary weapon is a lance, though his final duel depicts him parrying with a sword. He flies, reads a dead king’s memories directly from its soul, creates multi-layered barriers strong enough to survive Poseidon’s anti-Demigod cannon when reinforced by other Demigods, and can contend simultaneously with several Agarthian Supremes. A pre-positioned anchor artifact lets him teleport away from Nyarlathotep’s absorption field, but it does not protect him from Lux’s Divine Duel, which compels a single exchange. His angelic origin offers a path to recover from a normally fatal impalement, yet immediate Divine Abyssal Touch attacks kill him before he can heal. The barrier’s survival is collective, and the weapon inconsistency does not establish transformation mechanics. (Chapters 1125, 1137–1143)

• Nyarlathotep — Eligor’s superior in the invasion hierarchy. Eligor leads in the Outer God’s absence, later welcomes its aid, and then narrowly escapes being consumed by it. (Chapters 1125, 1133, 1141–1143)
