The Divine Army reckoning

Eiko unveils and names Poseidon during the war against the Ford Federation's fleet. Under bombardment that cannot scratch its bone hull, the living ship answers with accurate cannon fire that sinks one enemy vessel per shot and destroys a tenth of the opposing fleet before its main force can close. Its presence forces Admiral Onyx to abandon his original plan and concentrate the Three Great Families against it, while Avery protects its deck and captures the admiral. The victory turns a supposedly one-sided extermination of the pirates into mass surrender and helps establish Eiko as their acknowledged Pirate Princess. (Chapters 1008, 1009)

After the final war, Poseidon remains a concealed protector rather than being retired as obsolete siege equipment. While Eiko confronts Abyssal Lords near Barbatos Academy, the ship hovers high above her with its body and presence completely invisible. When a fleeing Gargoyle assumes the sky is safe, Poseidon's hidden beam annihilates it, closing the escape route without exposing the vessel beforehand. This latest appearance confirms that its postwar role combines deterrence and precise intervention: Eiko can appear lightly guarded while a Peak-Demigod flagship silently controls the airspace above her.
