Lone Seeker of Truth

Lone Seeker of Truth is a constellation devoted to inquiry and support for followers who pursue hidden facts. It participates primarily through messages and quest authority, first observing the Constellation Killer crisis and later helping Kim Gong-ja build the alliance against the Magic Tower.

Biography

Inquiry and the anti-Magic Tower alliance

The Lone Seeker first watches Gong-ja's confrontation with the Constellation Killer alongside other wary constellations. It later joins the group testing Gong-ja's claim to the Sword Emperor's legacy, accepts him as a temporary follower, and shares the main campaign quest. Once the Magic Tower begins searching the underground caves, the Seeker distracts the intruders so the party can evacuate, requests reinforcements, and gathers its own followers for the rising alliance. (Chapters 126–129 and 288–301)

The Seeker continues issuing quests as the campaign spreads and works beside the Eye Living in the Labyrinth, whose route guidance complements its own diversions and investigation. Its messages also show limits: it does not recognize every unknown presence and must ask allies for help when pressure grows. The campaign nevertheless succeeds, and the Seeker acknowledges completion before remaining an active observer in the later constellation gatherings. (Chapters 300–313, 324, 326, and 334)

Appearance and personality

No confirmed physical manifestation of the Lone Seeker appears in the supplied chapters. Its presence is conveyed through Tower messages, questions, requests, and quests rather than a described body or sanctuary. Those communications present an inquisitive but practical personality: cautious around unknown powers, willing to coordinate around a persuasive hypothesis, and openly frustrated when nominal allies refuse reinforcements. (Chapters 126–129 and 299–301)

Abilities and skills

The Lone Seeker can recognize temporary followers, share a main quest, issue instructions to its adherents, and coordinate them as part of a wider constellation alliance. It directly distracts a Magic Tower search party, enabling Gong-ja's group to escape, and later gathers followers for open conflict. The precise mechanism, range, and duration of that distraction are not stated, so it cannot be assumed to be universal mind control or concealment. (Chapters 299–301)

Its truth-seeking authority also supplies investigative support, expressed through questions, attention to uncertain identities, and a campaign objective that directs followers to find and duel their sworn enemies within the Magic Tower's ranks. This does not make the Seeker omniscient: it fails to identify an unknown voice during the campaign and relies on allied information. The Eye's navigation and secret-reading therefore complement rather than duplicate the Seeker's more limited demonstrated role. (Chapters 300–305)
