Biography

The Road South and the Fairy Realm

Wan Chong first appears as a participant in Qi Xing’s remote conference, where he is summoned to report on the Burning Heavens Plan alongside the Mad Scientist’s Mystic Moon Plan. The scene does not show his work on Xiya directly, but establishes that his planetary operation is important enough for Qi Xing to demand progress and grow impatient with delays. (Chapter 398.5)

The Underworld and the Forgotten City

At a later conference, Wan Chong claims that Xiya has fallen completely under his control and that its population’s souls will be harvested within two years. He identifies the queen’s ancient god bloodline and the people’s faith in her as the main sources of continued resistance. His report shows that conquest has not produced total submission, despite his attempt to dismiss the remaining struggle as futile. (Chapter 702.5)

The Godchild Crisis and Qi Xing

Qi Yue’s explanation identifies Wan Chong as a forty-percent-Godhood agent and one of the three directors of the God Creating Plan. Qi Xing orders Rahu to join him after the Godchild is found, and Wan Chong reports that an unawakened Demigod escaped Xiya. When he finally appears in person, his immense body and pressure match his role as the Burning Heavens Plan’s physical enforcer. (Chapters 802, 810, 814, and 820)

Xiya and the Perfect Moon

Wan Chong discovers Tian Tian and the refugees during her incomplete awakening. He attacks personally, dismissing her summoned bear and boasting that he will preserve her valuable soul, but Tian Tian survives his first exchange while shielding the others. The Shura then arrives: Wan Chong’s punch breaks against Ling’s body, the Lunar Scourge Divine Spear pierces his chest, and the released power destroys him before he can respond. Ling later destroys the soul-harvesting domain and tells Xiya’s survivors that Wan Chong and Rahu are dead. (Chapters 820–822)

Appearance and personality

Wan Chong is approximately three metres tall and three times thicker than an ordinary person. His massive, steel-like arms and mere presence create crushing pressure. He is boastful, cruel, and quick to anger, treating Xiya’s people as harvest material and Tian Tian’s awakened soul as nourishment rather than a person. (Chapters 702.5 and 820–821)

He is deferential when reporting to Qi Xing but casually talkative beside Rahu, whom he calls boss. Humiliation makes him reckless: after Tian Tian’s summon knocks him back and the Shura frightens him, he attacks to restore his pride instead of first assessing the threat. (Chapters 702.5 and 820–821)

Abilities and powers

Wan Chong possesses forty-percent Godhood and physical force capable of flattening a mountain. He can enlarge his already massive arms, break Tian Tian’s summon in a direct clash, and continue an attack with enough residual force to injure her. He also operates the immense Soul-Devouring Domain used to strip Xiya’s people of their souls. (Chapters 810 and 820–822)

His raw power is below Rahu’s fifty-percent Godhood and far below the Shura’s awakened level. Tian Tian can stop much of an eighty-percent blow despite being newly awakened, while striking Ling only breaks Wan Chong’s own arm; Ling then kills him with one spear thrust. His soul domain is similarly breakable once confronted by Shura power. (Chapters 820–822 and 827)

Relationships

  • Qi Xing: Qi Xing assigns Wan Chong the Burning Heavens Plan and demands progress toward harvesting Xiya. He reports submission to her and receives Rahu’s assistance when she accelerates the Godchild’s growth. (Chapters 398.5, 702.5, and 814)
  • Rahu: Wan Chong calls Rahu boss and accepts his assessment of Tian Tian’s awakening. They attack the refugees together and are killed moments apart by the Shura. (Chapters 820–821)
  • Tian Tian: Wan Chong kills Tian Tian’s father and devastates her world, making him the central object of her anger on Xiya. He seeks her awakened soul, while she uses her incomplete power to protect the people behind her. (Chapters 702.5 and 820–821)
  • Ling Chen: Wan Chong initially mistakes Ling’s silent arrival for an opportunity to assert himself. The encounter reveals an overwhelming difference in power and ends in Wan Chong’s immediate death. (Chapter 821)
