Black Flames Xuan Feng

Biography

The Road South and the Fairy Realm

Black Flames Xuan Feng brings hundreds of guild members to seize Ling Shui Ruo’s Moon God Light Dress for his wife, Pink Rosa, while also regarding Shui Ruo and her companions as potential possessions. He dismisses Mu Bing Yao’s reputation because of his numerical advantage and orders force even after the Battle Alliance arrives. Ling Chen then uses the Complete and Utter Belief Curse to make him accept absurd accusations about his wife and dead mother, provoking him into attacking his own aide. The spectacle destroys his authority, and he flees as a public laughingstock. (Chapters 279–283)

Appearance and personality

Black Flames Xuan Feng is about twenty-two or twenty-three, slightly thin, pale-faced, and openly lustful. He is arrogant because of his father’s backing, assumes women and subordinates will yield to his status, and refuses warnings about stronger opponents. The narration states that his father gives him no real responsibility because he lacks talent. (Chapters 279–281)

Abilities and powers

The corpus establishes no named class, combat technique, or independent feat for Black Flames Xuan Feng. His practical power comes from family status and command over Black Flames Alliance members. He has no resistance to Ling’s Complete and Utter Belief Curse, which overrides reason even when the planted claims are impossible. (Chapters 279–283)

Relationships

  • Ling Shui Ruo refuses to surrender her dress and correctly doubts his promise that the women will be released afterward. (Chapters 279–280)
  • Mu Bing Yao defeats his advancing members and exposes the weakness behind his numerical confidence. (Chapters 280–281)
  • Ling Chen answers the women’s call, curses Xuan Feng, and turns his own credulity into lasting public humiliation. (Chapters 282–283)
  • Pink Rosa is his wife and the person whose demand for the Moon God Light Dress initiates the confrontation. (Chapters 279–283)

Items

Black Flames Xuan Feng uses an unnamed weapon while attacking his own subordinate under the curse, but no signature item is assigned to him. The Moon God Light Dress he tries to seize belongs to Shui Ruo and never enters his custody. (Chapters 279–283)
