Return turns grief into vengeance

Tongtian Jiaozhu returns from another dream after the death of Vimalacitra, who raised and cared for her like a granddaughter. Believing Yeon-woo responsible for the loss, she aligns with Yvlke's side and announces revenge rather than pausing to test the story she has been given. Her return immediately changes the balance among eastern societies: she overwhelms Chan Sect's Three Leaders and restores Jie Sect as a force that cannot be dismissed. Manipulation breaks the alliance

Alongside the Bull Demon King and Yvlke's forces, Tongtian Jiaozhu enters the conflict around Li's fragment and fights the Monkey King. The confrontation eventually exposes that Yvlke used distorted truths about Oceanus and Vimalacitra to direct her anger. Once she realizes her revenge rests on manipulation, she does not continue merely to save face; she withdraws from the stage, alive but downcast, depriving Yvlke of one of his strongest allies.
