Tom is the youngest of the Nine Dragon Sons, a coldly ambitious leader who turns the Summer Queen's blood into the foundation of Black Dragon.

Biography

A dragon son bids for greater power

Tom appears at the auction as the sardonic leader of Eighty-One Oculus, bidding on the Elixir while carrying blood received from the Summer Queen. He is already known as Tom the Beginning, but the Summer Queen's decline gives him a larger opening. After her fall, he consumes his siblings and the Autumn Lord, consolidating their power and transforming his organization into Black Dragon rather than allowing the remaining dragon heirs to scatter. (Chapters 223–251)

Predation ends in a lost throne

Tom continues treating other dragon-blooded beings as resources. He ambushes Waltz, tears away a wing, and consumes it while declaring that his siblings remain together inside his stomach. The attack increases the threat he poses but also places Black Dragon directly in the Fantasy Regiment's path. Its hidden leader ultimately brings Tom down; Black Dragon is removed from the board, and Tom loses his place among the Nine Kings. (Chapters 420–437)

Appearance and personality

Tom is a handsome young man with sculpted features and cold eyes. He speaks with a sardonic confidence and treats violence as acquisition, reducing siblings and rivals alike to things he can absorb. His composure at the auction contrasts with the brutality of his later attacks, but both reflect the same calculating desire to secure a stronger position. (Chapters 223 and 429–437)

Abilities and powers

Tom possesses dragon blood derived from the Summer Queen and can create or command Spartoi through that lineage. Elemental Contact lets him distort space around his attacks, providing a direct spatial combat application rather than simple physical strength. His most disturbing growth method is consumption: devouring his siblings, the Autumn Lord, and Waltz's wing adds their power to his own. Accumulation does not make him unbeatable, since the Fantasy Regiment's leader defeats him and ends Black Dragon's rise. (Chapters 230, 251, and 420–437)
