Leonhardt

Leonhardt is Arthia's former tactician and greatest swordsman, a brilliant organizer whose departure becomes a source of guilt that he spends the rest of his life trying to answer.

Biography

Arthia loses its Sword Strategist

Leonhardt manages Arthia's internal affairs while Jeong-woo drives its ascent, earning the name Sword Strategist for the combination of wisdom and swordsmanship that holds the clan together. As poison, war, and betrayal make Jeong-woo increasingly unstable, Leonhardt tries to calm him but eventually leaves for the Sea of Time. He does not attack Arthia afterward, yet removing one of its central supports accelerates the clan's collapse and leaves him burdened by the choice. (Chapters 154 and 359–361; Chapter 431)

The Fantasy Regiment becomes an apology

After recognizing the masked Yeon-woo as Jeong-woo's brother, Leonhardt does not approach immediately because he believes he lacks the right. Instead, he sharpens the Fantasy Regiment into a force ready to support the returning clan. When they finally meet, Yeon-woo accepts that Leonhardt's departure was exhaustion rather than calculated betrayal; Leonhardt and his knights then join Arthia, and he later apologizes directly to Jeong-woo's vestige. (Chapters 430–434, 504, and 628–648)

Lion Heart outlives the Tower

When the Tower is gone, Leonhardt refuses transcendence and chooses to age, believing a finite life has dignity. He nevertheless uses his “genius mind” to establish a new clan that grows into Lion Heart, a cosmic empire spanning four galaxies and 142 civilizations. As its first emperor, he keeps searching for the friend and savior the world forgot, traveling to Earth and rejoining Yeon-woo's recovered circle. (Chapters 794 and 796–799)

Appearance and personality

Leonhardt is later shown aging naturally and wearing glasses while surrounded by administrative papers. He is intelligent, practical, and formidable with a sword, but his defining trait is responsibility: he can leave when emotionally exhausted, yet never stops judging that decision or trying to make amends. His preference for a mortal lifespan also shows a reflective acceptance of aging and death. (Chapters 431, 639, and 796)

Abilities and powers

Leonhardt is Arthia's greatest swordsman and can use Aura, a difficult energy maintained through strong Consciousness. His tactical insight is equally important, allowing him to manage clans, negotiate between large factions, and later unite civilizations. The text does not give a single named finishing move, and his achievements depend on organization as much as combat; even his empire is presented as the result of sustained strategy rather than personal transcendence. (Chapters 154, 360, 431, and 794–796)
