Lady Priya

One of the Lordsfire-and-light combatantExploding Sun

Lady Priya is an Exploding Sun Lord whose directness and sense of responsibility guide her dealings with Jack and shape her faction’s claim to protect Earth.

Biography

A Lord and Potential Sponsor

Jack first sees Priya at a distance during a space-monster battle, where a huge golden palm and an eruption of sunfire destroy the horde. Gan Salin identifies her as one of Exploding Sun’s three Lords. Later, Priya and her team arrive at the Trial Planet’s inner rings, where she helps fight the Bone King and supports her healer Kareena as she treats wounded allies. Afterward Priya approaches Jack with an offer: Exploding Sun will accept him after the trial, while the question of protecting Earth will be decided at the end of its grace period. The proposal gives Jack a possible factional home but does not settle Earth’s safety. (Chapters 169–170, 192–193, 196)

Priya is direct about the limits of that alliance. She refuses to make an alliance inside the Trial Garden, but continues cooperating with Jack and the others in navigating its traps. When the Dao Sprouting Pill contest turns violent, she does not rely on a hidden scheme; she intervenes when Minerva orders Jack’s death and claims that Jack represents Exploding Sun. Longsword challenges the claim because Jack has not formally joined and each faction can have only one Lord. Priya falls silent rather than fabricate a status he does not yet hold, while Jack explains that the misunderstanding was his. The confrontation preserves her directness but exposes a real limit to her ability to shield him. She later leaves with Chuto and Kareena, wishing the Sage immortality. (Chapters 197–198, 203, 205, 208–213)

Appearance and personality

Priya is described as direct and straightforward. In battle her open palms ignite with fire and light bright enough to force onlookers to look away. She is willing to vouch for Jack, but the Trial Garden dispute shows that faction rules constrain the protection she can offer. (Chapters 192, 203, 208)

Abilities and cultivation

Priya fights with fire and light concentrated around her palms. In the distant space battle, her sun-like attack burns monsters while Chuto’s golden palm plows through the same horde. Against the Bone King, her lit hands and the other Lords’ attacks begin the assault. Her large-scale attacks are clear, but her Dao, energy mechanics, Grade, and Level are unknown. No lasting advancement is confirmed. (Chapters 169–170, 192)

Relationships

  • Jack Rust: Priya offers him a place in Exploding Sun and later publicly claims him as her faction’s representative to prevent Minerva from killing him. Jack’s membership is still prospective at that point, so her protection has a political limit. (Chapters 196, 205, 208)
  • Lady Minerva: Priya is a fellow Lord who opposes Minerva’s death order during the Trial Garden fight. (Chapters 197–198, 208)
  • Chuto and Kareena: Priya leads alongside her two teammates; Kareena heals the wounded after the Bone King fight, and Chuto accompanies Priya when she leaves the garden. (Chapters 169, 193, 213)
  • The Sage: Priya exchanges a farewell with the Sage after the garden conflict and wishes him immortality. (Chapter 213)

Items

Jack later uses the bronze identity plaque Priya gave him to identify himself. The plaque is a credential associated with her sponsorship, not a source of combat power. (Chapter 235)
