Fairy Zi Wei

Fairy Zi Wei is a Spirit Affinity House immortal who enters Heavenly Court and becomes its principal wisdom-path strategist after the Battle of Yi Tian Mountain. Using the Star Constellation Chessboard, she directs the court's pursuit of Fang Yuan, Shadow Sect, and Longevity Heaven. Her long contest with Fang Yuan ends the Fate War in personal defeat: Spectral Soul modifies her weakened soul, turning the former defender of Heavenly Court into the rank-eight planner of a rebuilt Shadow Sect.

Biography

Awakening and the pursuit of Fang Yuan

Fairy Zi Wei awakens after Yi Tian Mountain into a Heavenly Court that has lost Heaven Overseeing Tower Lord and must contain Fang Yuan's new sovereign immortal body. A senior of Spirit Affinity House with blood ties to Feng Jin Huang's family, she is warm toward Feng Jin Huang but uncompromising about Heavenly Court's boundary: gratitude to Fang Yuan cannot become alliance with a wanted demon. Her first extended deduction identifies connections around Hu Immortal blessed land and the organization Defy. She then helps seal Spring Autumn Cicada, recovers Fixed Immortal Travel through targeted investigation and refinement, and assumes the burden of finding an opponent whose concealment repeatedly denies her exact location. Her strategy is built from clues, institutional resources, and remote control rather than personal pursuit alone. She sends wills to investigate, assigns immortals and defensive methods, and uses Star Constellation Chessboard to coordinate across regions. Fang Yuan's foreknowledge and sovereign aperture still let him escape or convert traps into gains, while Shadow Sect's Purple Mountain True Monarch can oppose her deductions. These failures do not make her passive; they cause her to widen the contest, attack support networks, and prepare counters for Spring Autumn Cicada, Fixed Immortal Travel, and hidden blessed lands instead of relying on one decisive calculation. Heavenly Court's strategist in the great wars

Under Duke Long, Fairy Zi Wei becomes Heavenly Court's operational center. She analyzes Fang Yuan's yama and emperor yama defenses, plans the second invasion of Lang Ya blessed land, equips field agents with methods derived from her calculations, and interprets distant battles through Star Constellation Chessboard. Her role combines deduction with political command: she weighs sect interests, venerable arrangements, and the survival of irreplaceable combatants while Duke Long supplies the court's martial authority. Even correct arrangements can fail when Fang Yuan changes the timeline, but she continues adapting rather than treating one failed future as fixed. (Chapters 1392, 1553–1598, and 1697–1766)

The approach to the Fate War intensifies that responsibility. She tries to obstruct Fang Yuan's transactions, locates or pressures his dispersed forces, and helps maintain Heavenly Court's formations and broad star-cast network. During the war she reads the battlefield, coordinates reinforcements, and supports Duke Long's defense of fate Gu. Her calculations preserve Heavenly Court through successive crises but do not anticipate Feng Jiu Ge completing Destiny Song and turning against the court. When fate Gu is destroyed, the institution to which she surrendered her original aperture has lost its defining objective, Duke Long is dead, and Fairy Zi Wei is exhausted and exposed. Spectral Soul's servant and Shadow Sect remnant

Spectral Soul exploits that weakness after the war. Prior subconscious influence and a direct soul-path modification produce absolute loyalty without erasing Fairy Zi Wei's intelligence or former personality. She leaves Heavenly Court with Old Man Zheng Yuan, addresses Spectral Soul as master, and receives orders to find Fang Yuan yet again. The task bitterly echoes her old office: she still studies the same enemy with the same wisdom-path expertise, but now rebuilds Shadow Sect, spreads information about the sovereign immortal aperture, and hunts Fang Yuan's traces for the venerable she once opposed. After Spectral Soul's defeat, Fairy Zi Wei remains loyal to his surviving split soul, Ying Wu Xie. She captures or recruits demonic immortals, kills pursuers, gathers souls and resources for her new master, and analyzes why direct provocation of Fang Yuan would be ruinous. Heavenly Court under the revived Star Constellation hunts the remnants but fails to capture them. Fairy Zi Wei and Ying Wu Xie are eventually swallowed by heaven-path dream realms. Star Constellation can devise only a dangerous rank-eight imitation of dream-path influence and chooses not to kill the living Spectral Soul clone, leaving Fairy Zi Wei alive but trapped alongside the master her modified soul compels her to serve. Appearance and personality

Fairy Zi Wei wears a purple robe and has long black hair, snow-white skin, deep dark eyes, and a graceful figure. A recurring sorrowful cast to her expression can disappear when she smiles. She is dignified, meticulous, and notably obsessed with cleanliness, even floating rather than touching the ground. As a strategist she is patient and willing to revise deductions, but repeated defeat by Fang Yuan becomes deeply personal; after soul modification, the same intensity is redirected into loyalty to Spectral Soul and anger at his enemies. Abilities and cultivation

Wisdom-path deductions

Fairy Zi Wei is a wisdom-path great grandmaster and Heavenly Court's leading deduction expert in her era. She can divide off wills to investigate remotely, process weak traces into strategic conclusions, calculate battle deployments, and design counters for killer moves and concealment methods. Deductions require usable information: Fang Yuan's yama defenses, future knowledge, and deliberate destruction of clues can leave her without a stable result. High-level dream path is another limit; even after Star Constellation's revival, the methods relevant to Fairy Zi Wei's dream-realm prison cannot simply be supplied through ordinary wisdom-path expertise. Star Constellation Chessboard

The Star Constellation Chessboard amplifies her calculations and supports vast formations, including observation and star-cast movement across Heavenly Court's theater of war. Through it, she can represent battlefields as changing pieces, project wisdom-path influence, and coordinate distant allies. These are partly house-derived capabilities rather than proof that Fairy Zi Wei personally matches a venerable. The chessboard can be opposed by concealment, hostile formations, or rival wisdom-path methods, and access is lost when she leaves Heavenly Court after the Fate War. (Chapters 1392, 1759, and 1928)

Rank-eight combat and phantom aperture

Although best known for planning, Fairy Zi Wei is a rank-eight Gu Immortal capable of overwhelming ordinary rank-six and rank-seven immortals with purple wisdom-path radiance and other attacks. Like senior Heavenly Court members who contribute their immortal apertures to the court, she operates with a phantom aperture that can store Gu while avoiding the aperture conflict caused by postwar qi tides. The arrangement binds her cultivation history to Heavenly Court's foundation but does not prevent her from fighting after betrayal. Her latest confirmed rank and attainment remain rank eight and wisdom-path great grandmaster; Spectral Soul's intervention changes allegiance, not formal cultivation. Soul modification

Spectral Soul's method enters and alters a target's soul when the victim is sufficiently weak and has already been influenced. On Fairy Zi Wei it imposes absolute loyalty while retaining the reasoning and temperament useful to Shadow Sect. The change is therefore neither ordinary persuasion nor a new soul-path rank. It constrains autonomy at the level of allegiance, making her protect Spectral Soul and Ying Wu Xie even when her memories and analytical judgment show how disastrous their position has become. Duke Long

Duke Long supplies the authority and combat strength behind many of Fairy Zi Wei's plans. She treats his revival and decisions as central to Heavenly Court's survival, while he relies on her deductions to locate enemies and coordinate the Fate War. His death leaves her without the senior protector who could convert her strategy into battlefield control at the moment Heavenly Court's cause collapses. (Chapters 1228, 1557–1598, and 1951–1968)

Fang Yuan

Fang Yuan is the opponent who defines both phases of Fairy Zi Wei's public career. She hunts him for Heavenly Court, then for Spectral Soul, repeatedly building sound plans that his rebirth, concealment, or unexpected growth overturns. The accumulated failures make her hatred personal, but they also teach her that common-sense estimates of his resources and limits are unsafe. (Chapters 1052–1070, 1596–1697, 2028, and 2075)

Ying Wu Xie

Ying Wu Xie begins as a Shadow Sect fugitive whom Fairy Zi Wei tries to locate. After Spectral Soul modifies her soul, she recognizes the surviving split soul as master, feeds him captured souls, and supports his attempt to rebuild Shadow Sect. They remain together through Heavenly Court's pursuit and share imprisonment in the heaven-path dream realms. (Chapters 1052–1095, 1968–2075, and 2307–2313)

Star Constellation Immortal Venerable

Star Constellation Immortal Venerable is the founder of Fairy Zi Wei's path and the source of the chessboard through which she serves Heavenly Court. Zi Wei acts as a later custodian of Star Constellation's strategic tradition but never reaches supreme-grandmaster attainment. After reviving, Star Constellation sends pursuers after her and later preserves the trapped Ying Wu Xie for strategic reasons, leaving the former Heavenly Court strategist outside the allegiance she once embodied.
