Yun Meng
Yun Meng is a Treasure Refining Pavilion disciple brought into the Immortal Graveyard because her remaining lifespan can be offered to a Reincarnation Tree. She and Xu Luo are treated as expendable resources by Old Man Hu, and she dies when he forcibly accelerates the ritual. (Chapters 347–351)
Biography
Journey to the Reincarnation Tree
Old Man Hu brings Yun Meng and Xu Luo into the Immortal Graveyard as the keys to producing reincarnation fruit. Each has more than a century of life remaining and is expected to surrender sixty years to stimulate the tree. Yun Meng thanks Wang Lin when he is assigned to carry her through the dangerous third floor, then sits opposite Xu Luo beneath the tree as the ritual begins. (Chapters 347–348)
Milky-white life aura rises from both disciples into the tree. Their faces show pain, their hair greys, and their bodies visibly age while three fruits begin to form. The process is not a cultivation benefit for Yun Meng; it consumes the lifespan that Old Man Hu considers the price of the expedition's reward. (Chapters 348–349)
Sacrifice and death
When hostile shamans breach the defenses before the fruit fully ripens, Old Man Hu injects energy into Xu Luo and then Yun Meng to force out the remainder of their life force. Yun Meng coughs blood and looks at him with sadness before closing her eyes. The sacrifice completes the three fruits but kills both disciples. Appearance and personality
Yun Meng is a beautiful young woman. She is shy when Wang Lin carries her and reddens at the unfamiliar physical closeness. Her final look toward Old Man Hu conveys sadness rather than resistance, but the brief scenes do not establish whether that restraint is acceptance, fear, or inability to oppose him. Lifespan offering
Yun Meng can serve as one half of the Reincarnation Tree ritual. By sitting beneath the tree with Xu Luo, she releases a milky-white aura representing decades of life, allowing reincarnation fruits to form. The chapters present this as a property Old Man Hu exploits, not as a freely controlled combat spell. His forced injection extracts the remaining energy more quickly and kills her. (Chapters 347–350)
Her precise cultivation realm, personal spells, and fighting ability are not stated. A later mention of a rank-seven Celestial King named Yun Meng refers to a different woman killed by Qing Shui, not to this deceased Treasure Refining Pavilion disciple. (Chapters 347–351 and 856)
