Xuan Lou is not a separate character. It is an occasional spelling error for Xuan Luo, the Ancient Dao Grand Empyrean who becomes Wang Lin's teacher. The first variant occurs when the Ancient Dao court anticipates Grand Empyrean Xuan Luo bringing Wang home; the surrounding paragraph repeatedly uses “Xuan Luo” before one sentence renders the name “Xuan Lou.” There is no entrance, title change, or identity break introducing another person. The same alternation appears during the reincarnation at Allheaven's golden door. Xuan Luo summons the Dragon Emperor, opens a route through the Immortal Astral Continent's law, speaks with Wang, and remains by the door; isolated lines call this uninterrupted actor Xuan Lou. The person who closes the door after Wang leaves is therefore Xuan Luo, not a second Empyrean. (Chapters 1790–1793)
The final occurrence comes during Wang and Xuan Luo's journey to Mount Gu Dao. The text changes spelling while describing the same teacher walking, instructing Wang, and respectfully approaching Grand Empyrean Gu Dao. The abilities in the variant-name scenes belong to Xuan Luo. His Empyrean Sun seals an enormous gathering, and his Grand Empyrean cultivation lets him contend with the law separating the cave world from the Immortal Astral Continent. Dragon Emperor and reincarnation passage
Xuan Luo summons the Dragon Emperor, one of his nine weapons, and turns the soul and body of a former mid-stage Void Tribulant dragon into a blood-colored whip. He uses it to lash open a gap in continental law so Wang's companions can reincarnate. The difficulty grows with the number of souls being sent, establishing an effort limit even for a Grand Empyrean. (Chapters 1790–1793)
