Ji Xiantian

Ji Xiantian is one of the Cultivation Alliance's Four Saints and its ninth-ranked expert, a mid-stage Nirvana Shatterer whose defeat inside the Moongazer Serpent leads to his death and the repeated use of his remains as a powerful corpse puppet. (Chapters 922–939 and 1396–1478)

Biography

A saint trapped inside the Moongazer

Ji Xiantian enters the conflict around the Moongazer Serpent as one of the Cultivation Alliance's Four Saints. His standing is more than ceremonial: he is ranked ninth in the Alliance and possesses mid-stage Nirvana Shatterer cultivation. Master Flamespark nevertheless targets him with a sustained assault that breaks through layer after layer of blue defensive light. Ji Xiantian detonates four remaining layers to create an escape, but Flamespark's Stop spell arrests that attempt and the Moongazer swallows him. (Chapters 922–924)

Death and Lou Chen's refinement

Inside the creature, Ji Xiantian no longer survives as an independent cultivator. Lou Chen consumes one of his own ancient-god stars to refine Ji's body into a puppet. The resulting weapon has no living origin energy for the surrounding void to suppress, and its preserved Nirvana Shatterer body moves with terrifying physical speed. It punches through the defenses of several senior cultivators before their combined counterattack destroys the puppet's body. Wang Lin recovers the ancient-god star used in the refinement, while later testimony explicitly describes Ji Xiantian himself as already dead. (Chapters 930, 938–941, and 1396)

A corpse repeatedly sent into danger

Ji Xiantian's remains are subsequently shown among the servants of the yin-yang old man, beside Yi Muzi and Wudo Chan. The old man inserts a portion of his own origin soul into Ji's body and sends the corpse into the Ancient Order Tomb, using it as a replaceable vessel rather than restoring Ji's will. Ji and Wudo later stand atop a Moongazer Serpent before Wang Lin captures both and places them in storage. These appearances track the fate of Ji Xiantian's corpse; they do not reverse his death. (Chapters 1396, 1436, and 1478)

Appearance and personality

The corpus does not provide a sustained physical portrait of Ji Xiantian before his death. His identity is established through the authority of the Four Saints, his layered blue defenses, and the formidable body retained after refinement. Once made into a puppet, apparent aggression or obedience belongs to the controller acting through the corpse and should not be read as Ji Xiantian's personality. (Chapters 922–939 and 1396–1478)

Abilities and cultivation

  • Mid-stage Nirvana Shatterer cultivation: Ji Xiantian's living cultivation places him among the Alliance's highest-ranked experts. His realm supplies the durability and physical foundation that later make his corpse valuable to multiple controllers. (Chapters 922–924)
  • Thirteen layers of blue light: His principal recorded defense surrounds him with thirteen blue barriers. Master Flamespark must shatter the layers successively, and Ji can deliberately explode the final four to turn stored defense into the force needed for an escape attempt. (Chapters 922–924)
  • Corpse-puppet body: Lou Chen's refinement removes the normal origin-energy weakness that the void imposes on living cultivators. Under external control, Ji's body can cross distance with speed that outstrips ordinary teleportation and deliver punches strong enough to injure veteran experts. This is a posthumous use of his remains, not a technique he consciously masters. (Chapters 938–941)
  • Soul-vessel function: The yin-yang old man can place part of his origin soul into Ji's corpse and operate it remotely. The body thereby functions as a dangerous disposable vessel in the Ancient Order Tomb. (Chapter 1436)

Relationships

  • Master Flamespark: Flamespark methodically breaks Ji Xiantian's thirteen-layer defense, freezes his attempted escape, and leaves him to be swallowed by the Moongazer. (Chapters 922–924)
  • Lou Chen: Lou Chen expends an ancient-god star to refine Ji's corpse into a weapon whose physical performance retains the value of his former realm. (Chapters 938–941)
  • Wang Lin: Wang Lin participates in defeating the first puppet, retrieves Lou Chen's ancient-god star, and later captures the reanimated corpse when it appears atop a Moongazer. (Chapters 939–941 and 1478)

Items

No signature physical item is consistently assigned to Ji Xiantian. His blue defensive layers are a cultivation technique, while the ancient-god star used to refine his corpse belongs to Lou Chen.
