Master Flamespark is a leading power of the Thunder Celestial Temple who spends tens of thousands of years turning the ruins of the Thunder Celestial Realm into a weapon. A strategist willing to manipulate entire star systems, he alternately uses, rewards, and protects Wang Lin as part of his campaign against the Alliance.

Biography

Refining the Thunder Celestial Realm

Master Flamespark divides his origin soul among forty-nine fragments of the collapsing Thunder Celestial Realm. He installs captured origin souls as treasure souls and draws the fragments together into the Thunder Celestial Formation, effectively refining part of a celestial realm as his magical treasure. The undertaking reveals both his patience and his willingness to sacrifice cultivators accumulated over tens of thousands of years. (Chapter 794)

His intended final source of ferocity is Qing Shui's Ji Realm. Flamespark helps release the sealed Celestial Lord, confronts him with records of his past, and endures the resulting attack through the forty-nine-fragment formation. Rather than continue a costly battle, he persuades Qing Shui to cooperate by offering passage to the Alliance Star System, powerful enemies to devour, and a chance to investigate the fall of the Celestial Realm. Choosing Xu Mu

Flamespark briefly controls Wang Lin's body, an experience that inadvertently deepens Wang Lin's ability to merge with the world. He later identifies Wang Lin's Xu Mu identity as one of the exceptional cultivators suited to bear a celestial title and lead Allheaven's coming war. Even after learning that Xu Mu originated in the Alliance, he keeps Wang Lin within the plan, judging his ability and ambition more valuable than the risk of betrayal. Flamespark's longest private grievance concerns Master Zhong Xuan, once his close friend and the person through whom Flamespark and his dao partner joined the Alliance. When Zhong Xuan blames Qing Shui for opening the Seven-Colored Realm, Flamespark's hatred resurfaces. He nevertheless refuses to let personal vengeance disrupt the realm war: if either man dies in battle, he will regard the matter as ended; only if both survive will he pursue repayment. Flamespark constructs the formation from forty-nine fragments of the collapsed Thunder Celestial Realm.
