Claudia

Claudia is the personal name of the Sky Phoenix Empress, an Eternal Phoenix sovereign whose family relationships are distorted by an implanted Pride Sin.

Biography

Young Phoenix Empress to Begin Unification

Claudia inherits the Phoenix throne after her mother dies of lifespan exhaustion and relies on Vira to suppress the rebellions surrounding her succession. During peace talks, Lucifer nearly kills him; Claudia sacrifices herself to save her husband, but Lucifer plants Pride Sin in her soul during the crisis. After her return, the corruption turns duty into arrogance and makes her control her daughters, imprison Celeste, and hate Bella's demonic blood. Aengus's confrontation forces the hidden cause into the open, frees her from the seed, and lets Claudia apologize, reunite with Vira, and choose family and unification with a restored mind. (Chapters 304–334)

Appearance and personality

Claudia looks like a petite young girl rather than an ancient ruler, with fiery eyes, phoenix feathers, and an aura powerful enough to make veteran elders uneasy. Corrupted Claudia is cutting, controlling, and violently proud; recovered Claudia is gentle, remorseful, and candid about the harm she caused. The contrast is presented as supernatural distortion of existing responsibility, not proof that none of her choices mattered. (Chapters 304–315)

Skills, laws, and abilities

As an Eternal Phoenix, Claudia commands immense phoenix flame, aerial transformation, magical pressure, and a firestorm that threatens a royal district. She has returned from a prior death after saving Vira, but the mechanism and limits of that rebirth are not explained. Her magic surpasses Vira's while his dragon body is physically stronger. Aengus can evade and counter her attacks, imprison her mind with Dominion, and remove Pride Sin, establishing that her mental defenses and flames are not absolute. (Chapters 304–315)
