Lucifer

Lucifer is the Primordial Demon of Pride and first-ranking leader of the Demon Lord Council. He corrupts the Sky Phoenix Empress with a Seed of Pride, rules an arctic slave domain, and prepares advanced warships while awaiting the Heir of Ruination. His confidence erodes as Aengus Degaro surpasses the Primordials, forces him to surrender a Ruination-linked pendant, and ultimately devours him together with Garcia during Mythraldor's transformation. Biography

Subdued Empress to Journey Accross Void And Space

Lucifer's earlier influence is reported by the Sky Phoenix Empress, who says he ambushed peace delegates, nearly killed Vira, and planted a Seed of Pride in her soul after she sacrificed herself. The seed distorted her reborn personality and helped fracture her family. In his own frozen domain, Lucifer uses enslaved populations and Ice Demon zealots while building advanced warships associated with stolen dwarven knowledge. He expects Aengus to enter that territory, prepares a trap with the other Primordials, and treats the foretold heir as prey whose arrival will validate his own status. (Chapters 310 and 319–323)

The trap fails when Aengus's route through space becomes untraceable, and the later Void Expanse forces Lucifer to acknowledge that Ruination exceeds the Demon God's darkness. He still leads the Primordials in Beelzebub's defense, but their combined barrier shatters and he retreats. Under orders to harvest souls for the Demon God's recovery, Lucifer presses ahead with the Grand War even after losing domains and learning the world's true origin, placing loyalty to the Supreme Father and the pride of his faction above evidence that Aengus now outclasses them. (Chapters 322–344)

At the final confrontation, Lucifer recognizes that one wrong move could erase him and reluctantly gives Aengus an ordinary-looking pendant connected to the Ruination Extremity. He flees when other leaders are killed, remains powerless while the gods battle, and descends only to protect Garcia after his companions disappear. The Demon God's flight leaves him shocked and abandoned; soon afterward, Aengus devours Lucifer and Garcia during Mythraldor's forced transformation. His last choices reduce a council leader expecting conquest to a survivor prioritizing his lover. (Chapters 345–349)

Appearance and personality

Lucifer is a muscular male demon with icy blue eyes, an oppressive domineering aura, and a predatory presence; the corpus later describes his gaze as fiery when his anger rises. His frozen domain and cold manner reinforce his severity, though they do not prove a personal Ice Law. Pride defines his temperament: he smirks at danger, resents fear, insults humans, and refuses to accept inferiority until Aengus's power makes survival more important. His attachment to Garcia and devotion to the Demon God complicate that arrogance with genuine loyalty. (Chapters 321–328 and 331–349)

Skills, laws, and abilities

Lucifer embodies the deadly sin of Pride. His Seed of Pride can be implanted into a soul, take root across death and rebirth, and amplify arrogance, self-centeredness, hatred, and fixation on noble superiority. The Phoenix Empress's account shows long-term personality corruption rather than direct puppet control, and removing or resolving the seed's influence requires powers outside Lucifer's demonstrated actions. The corpus does not name his broader Pride skill set or explain whether the seed can affect targets stronger than him. (Chapter 310)

His direct physical technique, Indomitable Kick, descends with mountain-like pressure and cracks a powerful green barrier protecting Valeris. Lucifer also leads the Primordials' joint darkness barrier, crosses realms with them, senses the Heir's manifestation, and uses piercing perception to trace residual presence through damaged space. Those tracking efforts fail once Aengus conceals and reroutes himself, while the combined defense cannot withstand residual Void power; command experience therefore does not overcome a fundamental gap in scale. (Chapters 322–333)

Lucifer's domain supports Ice Demons, giants, slavery, and construction of warships said to rival Transcendentals in raw power. The narrative does not show him personally piloting a ship or casting the region's lethal cold, so environmental and technological assets should not be treated as named innate abilities. His Ruination-linked pendant had previously helped him interfere with Dwarvania's Barrier of Ruination, but he never understood its full nature and surrenders it rather than test it against its true heir. (Chapters 319–320, 337, and 345)

• Aengus Degaro: Lucifer prepares to hunt Aengus as the foretold Heir of Ruination, then fails to trace, contain, or oppose him. Aengus takes his pendant and later devours him, ending the Sin of Pride's attempt to direct the war. (Chapters 319–349)
• Beelzebub: Beelzebub mocks Lucifer's failed tracking but depends on him when Aengus targets him. Lucifer organizes the Primordials' defense and is forced to abandon Beelzebub after it collapses. (Chapters 323 and 331–337)
• Garcia: Garcia is Lucifer's Medusa companion and lover. She shares his anticipation of the heir, warns him during the Void attack, and becomes his primary concern after the gods enter battle; Aengus ultimately devours them together. (Chapters 321–349)
• Vira: Lucifer nearly kills the Sky Phoenix Empress, forces her to sacrifice herself, and plants the Pride seed that corrupts her reborn personality. (Chapter 310)
• Demon God: Lucifer calls the Demon God Supreme Father, obeys the soul-harvest plan, and seeks his guidance when Ruination destabilizes the war. The Father's eventual flight leaves Lucifer feeling abandoned. (Chapters 321, 338–349)
