Neffie

Neffie, formally named Nefertiti, is the youngest child of Lickity and Cixelcid. Born a Demon Queen with the Mimic class, she grows and levels with exceptional speed, turning a childhood fascination with disguises and summons into a versatile combat style before accepting the territory-bound Demonic Overlord class and commanding Port Nefheim’s defenses.

Biography

Doppelganger child

Nefertiti is born the youngest of triplets but is neither a Vampire nor a Succubus. The System identifies her as a Demon Queen and Mimic, and she activates an interface almost immediately; instinctive fire, claws, fangs, and the ability to copy Razor Grass show that her powers precede ordinary childhood training. Leveling accelerates her physical growth, and by the time she looks roughly five she is already using recorded forms to impersonate household members, sneak out, and reproduce the signature abilities associated with copied identities. (Chapters 220–221, 287)

Her family tries to contain that acceleration while Cixelcid and King Aggramor quietly encourage it. Neffie reaches level fifty-five before her first birthday, gains an Authoritative Aura that makes others more receptive to her directions, and uses it for games rather than coercion. Aggramor then takes her into a level-230 raid despite Lickity’s orders. By Chapter 309 she is a level-180 Doppelganger with a preteen body, combat training from the King’s Guard, four-sword practice, and access to the full Puppet Master skill tree through her copying path. (Chapters 287, 309)

Demonic Overlord

Neffie’s Doppelganger abilities let her combine recorded bodies, classes, and summons. While disguised as Misha she can conceal her true information, use healing she has never personally practiced, and call Wrath Bringers; merging with a Record Keeper increases her magical power and durability. The breadth has limits—exclusive racial classes cannot simply be copied—and the need to understand unfamiliar skills can leave her improvising. These gaps become visible in structured challenges even when her raw level and copied strength overwhelm ordinary opponents. (Chapters 317, 498)

As Guardian of Port Nefheim, Neffie receives a Mythic city barrier and uses it with the Lesser Watchers to trap attacking beasts against an enemy-only boundary. She adds Mythic Transformation and Shared Resilience, satisfying the hidden requirements of two Mythic area-defense spells, the Guardian title, and Demon Queen species. The resulting Demonic Overlord class rewards defense of a populated home territory: with more than fifty followers, it reduces damage to nearby subjects and upgrades Neffie’s attacks to the quality of her strongest defense. (Chapter 467)

Commander of the later Host

Neffie develops Port Nefheim’s defenses into an organized force rather than relying only on her own copied abilities. Her Dinosaur Cavalry uses Trice as unusually aggressive tanks, and she sends city guards to finish threats that visiting fighters cannot handle. After seeing cultivators, she asks Cain to find a patient Kung Fu instructor and accepts a permanent Watcher-created Tiggy, showing that she continues adding disciplined training and stable forces to the spectacular powers of her Overlord class. (Chapter 550)

Neffie continues as Port Nefheim’s Guardian, city-guard commander, and organizer of Dinosaur Cavalry rather than abandoning the city for every wider guild conflict. She requests a Kung Fu instructor after encountering cultivators, directs guards and Trice mounts against threats, and argues for permission to join distant wars, but her parents and the Watchers emphasize that guarding the Port is itself her duty. By the later chapters, Nemu has appointed herself Neffie’s bodyguard, reinforcing her standing as both a young family member and a leader whose position requires protection. (Chapters 542, 550, 556, 702)

Appearance and personality

Neffie is born with icy white hair tipped in black, ash-gray skin, white catlike ears, curled white ram horns, glowing gold eyes, hooves, gold claws, fangs, four arms, and a leathery tail ending in hornlike spikes. Level-driven growth rapidly carries her from infant to child and then preteen proportions, but she remains child-sized long after acquiring adult-scale levels and responsibilities. Her transformation skills can replace this distinctive Demon Queen form with copied appearances. (Chapters 220–221, 287, 309)

She is affectionate, energetic, proud, and fascinated by sweets, shiny prizes, disguises, and impressive titles. Neffie treats stealth as a game, wants every advancement to be unique, and initially values “Overlord” partly because it sounds grander than Queen. She is not malicious: she avoids exploiting her aura, rescues newcomers, and takes civic defense seriously when danger arrives. Her main weakness is youthful overconfidence, which family restrictions and challenge-based training repeatedly force her to confront. (Chapters 287, 374, 467, 498)

Skills and class features

Neffie’s abilities layer Demon Queen racial traits, the Mimic-derived Doppelganger path, and Demonic Overlord’s territorial defense mechanics. This combination gives her an unusually broad catalogue, but its strongest effects depend on recorded forms, a defended home territory, nearby followers, or skills she may not yet understand. Her versatility is therefore greatest when preparation, territory, and command all align. (Chapters 221, 317, 467, 498)

Mimicry and Doppelganger records

Mimic lets Neffie record forms and reproduce the associated abilities; Doppelganger expands that practice until she can hide identifying information and build class combinations by observing others while disguised. She can copy Kone’s summons, Misha’s healing and Lieutenants, or Vala’s physical combat body, and she can merge with Record Keepers for greater magic and durability. Exclusive racial classes remain outside ordinary copying, and using a recorded class does not automatically give her the original owner’s experience or tactical judgment. (Chapters 221, 287, 309, 317, 498)

Demon Queen traits and transformation

Neffie’s natural body is fireproof enough to survive her own newborn flames and carries claws, fangs, multiple arms, and other demonic weapons. Authoritative Aura, gained at level twenty, makes listeners more inclined to follow her directions but does not compel absolute obedience. Mythic Transformation temporarily raises her body to Mythic quality; merely learning it grants Mythic Awakening and damage reduction, while activation upgrades the Mimic path’s close-combat attacks to Mythic quality and increases spell damage. (Chapters 220, 287, 467)

Guardian and Overlord defenses

Port Nefheim’s Mythic barrier excludes enemies while allowing defenders to retreat through it and counterattack creatures stopped at the boundary. Shared Resilience distributes Neffie’s best damage-reduction effect across her raid party. Overlord’s Authority adds twenty-five percent damage reduction for Neffie and her followers within a radius measured in her level when she has more than fifty subjects and is in home territory; it also activates her attacks at the quality of her best defense. The class tree further supplies defensive statues and traps. (Chapter 467)

Summons and command

Because Overlord’s Authority raises attacks to her best defensive quality, summoned forces can appear at Mythic quality in qualifying territory, as demonstrated by eight Oath Breakers in the tower. Neffie also fields Record Keepers, copied Puppet Master summons, and a Dinosaur Cavalry whose Trice serve as aggressive tanks. She combines this arsenal with sword-and-shield training and later seeks unarmed instruction, but the tower defeat shows that choosing the wrong form or force composition can still leave her unable to answer a specialized enemy. (Chapters 309, 498, 550)

Relationships

  • Lickity: Neffie loves her mother but continually tests her restrictions through disguises, secret leveling, and requests to join dangerous fights. Lickity’s discipline is the principal check on Neffie’s speed of development and tendency to treat combat as play. (Chapters 287, 467, 542)
  • Cixelcid: Cixelcid encourages his daughter’s dungeon growth more readily than Lickity and later uses the challenge tower to give her safe but humbling defeats. Neffie trusts him as both an indulgent parent and a teacher. (Chapters 287, 498)
  • Cain: Neffie calls Cain her uncle and Guild Master, copies abilities from his companions, and approaches him for permission, instructors, and help. Cain supports her development while generally respecting Lickity’s decisions about distant battles. (Chapters 220, 490, 550)
  • King Aggramor: Aggramor spoils Neffie, secretly power-levels her, and supplies elite combat opportunities. Their shared enthusiasm makes him a favorite uncle and a recurring source of conflict with Lickity. (Chapters 287, 309)
  • Nemu: Nemu volunteers to help find Neffie a patient martial-arts instructor and later appoints herself the young commander’s bodyguard, connecting Neffie’s curiosity about cultivation to a dependable personal protector. (Chapters 550, 702)
